Liam's Wife, Harry's Half Sister

Chapter 10

The ride home was awkward. I looked behind me and saw that both Luca and Henry had fallen asleep. I was honestly happy about that. They wouldn't hear Liam and I if we got into a fight then.
"Liam I-" I started but he cut me off.
"Please just don't talk right now. I'm not in the mood." Liam said and clenched the wheel tighter.
"I'm sorry." I said and left it at that. The rest of the ride home was silent.
By the time we got home Liam and I both got out of the car and each grabbed one of the boys. Liam also grabbed the bags we had needed for the trip and he gave me the keys to unlock the door.
Once we were inside we both headed to the boys appropriate rooms and each put one to bed. I looked down at Henry and softly caressed his hair. He looks so much like Harry when he was little it's scary. I then kissed his forehead and turned his night light on and then went to Luca's room and saw Liam kiss his forehead. I walked in and kissed Luca on the forehead as well.
I then turned on his night light as well and followed Liam out of the room and into our bedroom. I saw him starting to get undressed.
"Liam." I said.
"Courtney I'm really not the best person to be talking to right now." Liam said and I could hear the anger in his voice. I shut our bedroom door so it wouldn't wake the boys. I then walked over to him and wrapped my arms around him from behind.
"I'm sorry. I'm sorry that you and Harry were fighting. I'm sorry that I stress you out. I'm sorry that I always seem to do everything wrong. I'm sorry for not being the perfect wife, mother and just perfect in general. I love you Liam, and I know this will probably make you mad, but I am scared of your anger. I love you but you also scare me." I said and Liam took my hands off his waist.
"I'm sorry I scared you but your brother needs to stay out of our business. I'll take care of my family how I see fit. We should get to bed." Liam said.
"Liam we need to talk about this." I said.
"I said let's go to bed. End of discussion." Liam said and headed towards the covers. I sighed and changed but I headed towards the bedroom door instead.
"Where are you going?" Liam asked.
"I'm sleeping in the spare room." I said and was about to walk away but Liam grabbed my wrist.
"Stop this foolishness and come to bed." Liam said.
"It's not foolishness. You were about to hurt my brother at my mom's. I can tolerate you hitting me, but I will not tolerate you hitting Harry or you ever hitting our children. It's only a matter of time before you raise your hand at them. Am I right Liam?" I asked.
"I would never hit them." Liam said.
"How do I know that!" I shouted.
"I just wouldn't. Just please come to bed. I want to at least try to make the rest of your Mother's Day weekend better than how it was at your mom's today." Liam said.
"Fine." I said giving in like I always do. I'm sure it would only be a matter of time though before things went too far. We then crawled into bed and fell asleep in each others arms.
