After spending a few days in the hospital, it was time for the Morningstar family to return home and introduce their new addition to her new surroundings. Lucifer had already packed away all the things they had taken to the hospital, while Carmilla was busy dressing their daughter, who wouldn't stop squirming.

Carmilla: Alright, Rory, it's time for you to see your new home.

Lucifer: You'll have lots of toys, clothes, and plenty of space to play.

Carmilla: But for now, you'll be close to us so you don't hurt yourself.

Lucifer: She's half fallen angel, I doubt she'll hurt herself.

Carmilla: She's also half sinner, I mean, human, so I doubt she's invincible.

Lucifer: And how do you feel about going back to the usual?

His comment referred to Carmilla returning to wearing her slippers made of angelic material.

Carmilla: It felt strange. For years, I got used to walking, so it was hard to adjust to walking without them.

Lucifer: I see. Are you ready?

Carmilla: Yes.

With that said, Carmilla opened a portal through which they arrived home. Rory, being just a baby, looked around at the enormity of her new home, although she quickly lost interest and decided to nibble on her hand while they entered. Carmilla first took her to her room, filled with toys, and placed her in her crib for a moment.

Carmilla: This will be your room, close to ours so we can keep an eye on you. There are also several toys for you to play with.

The first thing Rory grabbed was a plush toy of an apple and put it beside her. Rory hugged it, feeling how soft it was, and didn't let it go. Carmilla watched affectionately as her daughter interacted with the toy, then lifted her to hug her. At that moment, her stomach growled, causing Rory to start crying.

Carmilla: Someone is already hungry.

Carmilla took Rory to the living room to start breastfeeding her. All of this made her feel melancholic, remembering all the memories of when she used to be human. The difficulty she had in raising her daughters was something she didn't want to go through again, and she knew it would be that way with her beautiful family helping her. Meanwhile, Lucifer was preparing lunch for them. He had to learn to prepare healthy food for his daughter, knowing that she wouldn't always be fed by her mother's milk. After finishing, he went to the living room to see how Carmilla was doing.

Lucifer: How's everything going around here?

Carmilla: Fine, she just finished eating and now she just needs to rest a little.

Lucifer: Alright. And how about you? Are you alright?

Carmilla: I'm fine, it's just that I'm still very excited about all this. I became a mother again. And look at this beautiful girl, I can't believe I'm the mother of this adorable creature.

Lucifer: It's amazing. Have you thought about what will become of her in the future? How will we raise her?

Carmilla: We want her to have a happy life, full of love. We'll have to teach her everything she needs to survive here, but we also want her to have the freedom to choose her own path.

Lucifer: That's right. As long as she knows that we love her and that we will always be here for her, everything will be fine.

Carmilla: And we also want her to know that she can trust us, that we will always protect her and support her. There's nothing we wouldn't do for our daughter.
