After that incident, it took weeks for everything to calm down and for things to return to how they were before, in hell, the news of Valentino's death by the hands of Lucifer became public, sending a message to all sinners and Overlords not to get involved with him or his family.

Valentino's business was left in a critical state due to the absence of the Overlord to take charge, so Vox had no choice but to dismantle the film studios he owned while also removing his partner's name from the tower due to his unfortunate loss.

In the hospital, Odette slowly recovered until she was in good health to return home with her sister and mother. There were only a few days left before the hospital discharged her, during which time she received visits from her family as well as from the Morningstars to see how she was doing.

During those visits, Emily often stayed late to spend more time with Odette because she felt guilty about what had happened, although Odette didn't blame her for what happened, she was just happy that Emily was okay after everything.

One day she was alone in her room, looking at a tablet where she could check the news from the days she was hospitalized when someone knocked on the door. She only gave permission for the person to enter, and it turned out to be Lucifer.

Odette: Mr. Lucifer?

Lucifer: Hello, dear, how are you feeling?

Odette: Fine, I feel much better than when I arrived here.

Lucifer: I truly regret what happened that day, but let me tell you that those responsible for this have already received their punishment.

Odette: Yes, I saw it on the news.

Lucifer: I see.

The two remained silent for a moment, as it was the first time they were alone without Carmilla or anyone else present.

Lucifer: I'd like to get to know you, it's been about four months since I started dating your mother, and I haven't been able to get close to you until Emily beat me to it.

Odette: Oh, I see, what would you like to know about me?

Lucifer: Whatever you want to tell me, like what your hobbies were in the human world, any love interests, anything.

Odette: Well, there's not much to tell. After we lost our mother, we were alone, even our father had left us, and we didn't find out why until later.

Lucifer: From your perspective, what was your father like?

Odette: A bastard.

Lucifer: Wow, that was direct.

Odette: My mother always kept hidden everything that man did to her, so when years later we found out what he did, we took matters into our own hands.

Lucifer: You killed him.

Odette: Yes, that's why we ended up in hell. We thought we were alone in this place until we found our mother.

Lucifer: And how did you feel about that?

Odette: Honestly, I felt nothing. At first, we just wanted to kill him for taking away the woman who gave us life, and when we finally did... we felt empty.

Lucifer: Well, that's normal, it happens to many people.

Odette: I held a great hatred for that bastard for what he did, and in the end, when I thought I would feel happy, I only felt disappointment.

Lucifer: I see.

Odette: I'm sorry, you probably didn't want to hear that.

Lucifer: It's okay, that's part of your life, I want to get to know you better. Your mother helped me a lot, and I want to do the same for her. That's why I've wanted to get closer to you for some time now, but I even hesitated to approach my own daughter for seven years.
