At the central hospital of the Pride Ring, Carmilla was there with her daughter Odette, who showed wounds all over her body. Her mother felt quite some pain seeing the delicate state of her daughter in front of her, and along with that pain came a deep hatred for knowing who was responsible for this. Then the door opened to reveal Lucifer, who arrived through a portal. Carmilla stood up to tell him everything, but she only received a hug.

Lucifer: How is your daughter?

Carmilla: She's okay, stable for now. Clara went back home to get some clothes to stay here.

Lucifer: And how are you holding up?

Carmilla: How am I holding up? My girl was attacked, and Emily...

Lucifer: Do you know what happened?

Carmilla: We don't know who caused this. I came right away when I found out my daughter was here. They told me security cameras couldn't record anything, but one thing is for sure, the target was Emily, in other words...

Lucifer: They want something from me.

He tried to contain his anger as best as he could, but he wasn't famous for being good at that. He decided to step out of the room for a moment just to see Charlie arriving with Vaggie.

Charlie: How is she?

Lucifer: Stable.

Vaggie: And Emily?

Lucifer: I don't know, but I'll find out soon. Could you guys come in? I don't want to leave her alone.

Charlie: Sure.

As he left the hospital, he could feel someone's presence, so he went to the darkest area there just to see from the darkness the one he hated the most appearing.

Alastor: It's good to see you again, Your Majesty.

Lucifer: Tell me something, do you know who did all this?

Alastor: It's possible, it's not like I know everyone who wants me dead, but you? They want to see you as someone they can control, and that's your greatest flaw.

Lucifer: Flaw?

Alastor: That's right, you have a lot to lose. You have daughters, a partner, a family they can control you with.

Lucifer: And you think that makes me weak?

Alastor: Of course.

Lucifer: Does that make you better than me?

Alastor: I wouldn't say it that way, after all, just look at me, I became one of the most powerful Overlords with sheer power alone, I even have one of them as my pet.

Lucifer: I genuinely feel sorry.

Alastor: I know, but Husk was the one who accepted the contract with me.

Lucifer: I mean you.

Alastor: Excuse me?

Lucifer: Do you seriously think being alone makes you more powerful?

Alastor: Just look at me.

Lucifer: All I see is a poor guy who doesn't know what he's talking about, I still wonder why you decided to support my daughter, but now I realize it's not power you want to get with this, but someone.

Alastor: What do you mean?

Lucifer: Tell me, what's the reason you want to go to heaven? Some love you want to regain? Or is it a family member whose loss hurt you?
