Wedding preps were on roars today it was mehandi night and tomorrow shaadi. Dua's mother got Lubna's back as she is Dua's only best friend. She have prepared everything for her and the dressess that Dua got for Lulu was also paid by her.
Lulu never knew people can be this loving as well to never make her feel orphan when whole world does that.
Lulu was standing near the railing were Lulu and Ruhaan had meet and talked for the first time. Ruhaan was allotted to take care of lighting for the duo's wedding and he forgot to book the electrician. So he urgently called them and began doing it alone.
"Main help karwa dun?"
"Kaisi help?"
"Lightings me. Main ne tumhari baat suni hai abhi." She took the twinkle light wires and began arranging it according to the reference Dua showed her for the decor.
"Aap ko aata hai ye sab?" Ruhaan looked at the girl standing on the ladder as if that's a plain area and skillfully going up and down leaning out of the ladder.
"Haan bahut acche se main to apne orphanage ki permanent free ki electrician thi." She said flexing, throwing her long brown hair back. "Ab khade kyu ho chalo kaam pe lago." Ruhaan nodded and went to work.
After the arrangement was done now only main connection was left when the electrician arrived and completed the work. They were demanding for the exact amount they were promised.
"Saari decoration hum ne ki. Tumhe kis baat ke paise dein bhaee?" Lulu came infront.
"To hum ne kaha tha karne ke liye?" The head said.
"Waah bhai waah..." Before Lulu could say more Ruhaan pulled out the money from his pocket and forwards to the electrician. Lulu snatched that money. "Paise hain to kya udaate rahoge?"
"20 percent milega bas." She took some note out from the snatched money. "Imaan rakho bhaee. Upar muh bhi dikhana hai."
The fact in this world for Muslim is they can do everything illegal but when they are reminded of THE DAY they get somewhat scared.
They took the money and left. That was when Ruhaan realised she is different and exact fit for city girl criteria.
"Puraane din yaad kar rahi ho?" Ruhaan stood beside her.
"Yaha sab bahut acche hain. Sab mere liye acha sochte hai. Main ne kabhi apne yateem hone ki baat pe logo ko apnahiyat se nazre apnete hue nahi dekha sab bas sympathy dikha picha chudhwa lete hai." Her voice for heavy and eyes teary.
"Yaha sab acche nahi hain." Ruhaan said to ease the situation. "Phuphi aur ayna to bilkul nahi. Dono Ekta kapoor ki shagird hai." To which Lulu chuckles.
Shagird=student.
"Tum hume miss karogi?"
"Haan." She was looking at the stars summer had just begin. "Tumhara jana zaruri hai?"
He looked at her all this while she never had any objections so now when only four days are left. It'll be wrong to say he didn't want her to stop him even he talked to his elder Bros about it.
"Haan zaruri hai."
"India me bhi bahut se best MBA colleges hain. Tum rich bhi ho." She can't make any eye contact as the welled up eyes will start screaming.
"Rishte ki baat se pehle mana kar dete jaane ke liye to dusri baat hoti. Hum yaha as a failure bhi rehte to log kuch nahi kehte lekin ab na jane pe tumhare upar ilzam de jayenge sab."
"Semester break hote honge?"
"Haan aur hum aate rahenge. Mere pancho bhaiyon ne beda uthaya hai." Ruhaan have a chuckle at the thought of them deciding how gonna pay for the visit as his father denied coming back every semester.
"Paanch?"
"Sameer Bhai, Atiq Bhai, Fakhir Bhai, Moin Bhai aur Moeez Bhai." He recite their name in order.
"Oh! Dua ke bhai." She said thinking something all of sudden his previous word strike in his mind. RISHTA. "Rishte ki baat?" She looked at him in excitement, "Humare rishtey ki baat?"
He nods and they can't contain in anymore.

It was a evening already everyone was busy getting ready and last minute preparation. Dua and Atiqa were with Lulu tying gajra in her braid."I'll be looking ok, na?" Lulu was fidgeting with her kurti hem.
"Gorgeous. You meant gorgeous, right?" Atiqa set her dupatta on head.
The door flung open. "Phone utha liya karo Dua." This was Fakhir who had been calling her for half and hour, whenever he used to sent someone to call her that person never comes back neither Dua.
"Kyu? Main kaam kar rahi hun na?'
"Ye lo?" Fakhir gave a jewellery box to Atiqa while shaking head for Dua. "Maa Jaan ne kaha hai Lubna ke liye hai."
Hearing that Lulu again went teary eyes as the size of the box was not anywhere near to small.
She held Atiqa's hand, "yahan sab kitne acche hai."
"Yahan sab acche nahi hain." Atiqa squeezes her hand.
"Ruhaan bhi yahi kehta hai."
"Acchaa!" The trio said in unison making Lulu shy and look down at her kurti embroidery. They laughed and Fakhir left from there.
Dua checked her phone there were 10 missed calls and few text from Fakhir. She excused and left.
Outside Paro was the first one she meet. They greeted with salam as it's there first meet after Dua came back from Delhi.
"Ye kya hai?" Dua asked looking at the parchment in Paro's hand.
"Nikah pe is pe bhi sign hogi phir ise frame karwayenge." Paro excitedly showed her the written stuff.
"Ye aap ne khud likha hai?" Dua was amazed by the handwriting, the calligraphy and intricacies on the velvet. All of sudden she remembered the letter she wrote for Fakhir. "Likhne ka kafi shaukh rakhti hain aap."
Paro sensed her voice change and the taunt rolled in the bitterness.
"Haan."
"Itne hi acche handwriting se ek khat aapne mere shauhar ko bhi likha tha. Ummed hai ainda nahi likhengi." She isn't up for any beat around the bush.
Paro felt her tongue tied she clearly knows what Dua is talking about.
"Humare nikkah ka janti thi na aap us waqt." She crossed her arms holding the parchment tightly almost damaging it. "Phir love letters likhe ja rahe the. Waah!" She shook her head moving her hand.
"Tumhe Fakhir ne bataya hai?"
"Aap ne likhe the aap jaanti hongi ki kis kis ko is bare me pata tha?"
Paro wasn't ready for this boldness of Dua when she had always been a goodie to her. But when the topic is up for confrontation she thought of talking about it for once and all. "Tumhe koi pasand nahi karta tha yaha infact koi cousin bhi nahi. Shaadi ki baat sun ke bhi koi tum se khush nahi tha aur hume aur Fakhir ko pair kiya jata tha." She can't control her words but in all this she too was just a character not the main character in Fakhir's life and she have somewhat accepted that which was clearly visible in her low and gentle voice. Afterall she too have loved.
"Despite the fact that he is in love with his wife?" Dua wasn't coming slow. "You better remember that he is my husband and for you a na-mahram." She thrusted the parchment and walked away. Where? She don't know.
Paro kept looking at her brown curls jumping on her waist, looking at her she knew why Fakhir loves her and her childish behaviour sometimes would have surely attracted her husband.
She held her gharara and left from there as well both were unaware of the fact that on this empty gallery two pair of eyes have witnessed everything.
"Toh shaadi ke Maidan-e-Azeem pe jeet ho hi gai humare Fakhir sahab ki."
"Lag to kuch aisa hi raha hai." The blush on the husband was visible.
