Silver laid in his bed for days, he hated how Stormtalons had betrayed him and now all he wanted to do was lay down and not move. Silver suddenly felt a talon tap him gently and heard Gradient's familiar and soft voice, "Silver, get up... You haven't eaten in days, you need to eat."
Silver raised his head up his face still wet with tears and scales all messy as he said, "N-No, I'm f-Fine...." Gradient suddenly grabbed Silver's head and putting their foreheads together before saying, "You don't need to lie to me, I know you're still upset about Stormtalons."
Silver winced as Gradient said that he still missed Stormtalons dearly, Gradient then wrapped his wings around Silver in a hug and said, "Silver... How about this, I'm got a painting to deliver to Queen Vigilance, how about you come with me and we can watch her guards train, wouldn't that make you happy?" Silver smiled a bit and said, "Yeah, that would make me a bit more happy."
Gradient smiled and said, "Good cause I can't have anyone being upset on my watch!" Silver smiled as Gradient walked off, Silver hoped he could get over Stormtalons, so he could be as happy as Gradient always seemed.
