Gradient woke up to Fathom tapping him, "Gradient, Queen Lagoon wants you to help me and Albatross with a animus magic thing." Fathom's voice was full curiosity, he clearly wanted to know more as well. Gradient quickly got up and stretched, he had been staying in the guest room of seawing palace.

Gradient quickly followed Fathom away to a small island that seemed to slowly grow. As Gradient landed Albatross quickly noticed and said, "Hello Gradient, hello Fathom, I suppose you're here to teach both of us what you know?" Gradient nodded nervously and said, "Y-Yeah, firstly, you n-need to know how to keep yourself from abusing your magic."

Albatross perched up with a inch of interested as he then said, "Very well, go ahead." Gradient then said, "Well um.... It's quite hard to do but you should firstly, put restrictions on your use of magic." Albatross and Fathom both nodded but then Fathom said, "What if Queen Lagoon ask us to do something?"

Gradient simply said, "Unless y-you believe it's for the best then don't do it, it's pretty simple." Fathom looked confused as if he couldn't imagine not listening to Queen Lagoon, Albatross seemed shocked a bit and said, "But we can't just disobey Queen Lagoon, she's our queen."

Gradient shrugged and said, "Queen Lagoon should understand, unless she wants you to go crazy and kill hundreds." Fathom and Albatross both jumped at Gradient's simple explanation being so violent. Gradient then said, "So.... Um.... Anyways, the next step is therapy... Albatross seems to have... Problems that are mental which I don't think I'm able to fix."

Albatross looked insulted and said, "What do you mean by that?" Gradient shrugged and said, "Well... Over the years I've been able t-to notice bullying due to differences... Silver and I had similar problems but we had a pretty good support system, meanwhile you... Seem to bottle up everything, which could cause it to explode." Albatross looked quite surprised and said, "I'll look into getting one soon."

Fathom then said, "What about me?" Gradient then said, "You're young, not much bad has happened to you, just take care of Albatross, he clearly needs tons of support." Fathom nodded simply as Gradient then said, "Although..." Gradient hesitated wondering if what he was about to say was at all selfish, "Perhaps it would do you some good meeting other dragons your age who you may relate to..."

Albatross perched up again, "What are you suggesting Fathom do?" He said, Gradient the said, "What if I introduced Fathom to Darkstalker and Arctic, Darkstalker is most likely a animus and Arctic is, it will be good to be around younger animus dragons." Albatross hesitated before saying, "You'll have to ask Queen Lagoon and Fathom's parents about that, so good luck."

Gradient then left Fathom to his magic lesson, in all truth, Gradient missed the nightwing kingdom and everyone there, especially Silver. Gradient honestly hoped he could get the permission to take Fathom to the nightwing kingdom so he could see everything he was homesick for.
