Wings of fire: Dimensional dragons

30- vacation

Silver had decided to go to the ice wing kingdom with Arctic, Foeslayer, Darkstalker and Whiteout as he didn't have anything to do as Stonecrusher was apparently going to be extremely busy with something at the palace. As they flew, the air slowly got colder as the night began to close in.

Darkstalker was oddly quite as if thinking of something, their around him seemed to chill even more. They all landed setting up camp for the night, Silver was quick to just lay down as soon as his bed was finished, rest quickly befell him as he laid down.

(Hours later)

A bit late into the night, Silver woke up, the sound of talons landing nearby awoke him. Silver shot up and looked around, he thought he saw a hooded figure but when he looked again, it was just a large stone.

The feeling of someone hiding in the dark consumed Silver to the point to which he couldn't rest. Silver stood up and began to search for whatever was making him feel this way, he hoped it was nothing and he could just go back to sleep. As Silver began to look around he noticed Darkstalker was still awake and was just laying down, "Darkstalker, why aren't you asleep?" Silver asked.

"I don't really see the point in sleeping, what are you doing up?" Darkstalker said calmly, Silver quickly replied, "Just felt like someone was watching us and couldn't sleep." Darkstalker shrugged and said, "Well, it's very unlikely we'll be attacked by anyone on this journey." Those words were obviously ment to be calming but Silver couldn't shake the feeling of someone else watching from afar.

Silver then said, "You know what, I'm just gonna stay up with you, I've had enough sleep." Darkstalker nodded and said, "Ok, would you like to play some chess?" Silver nodded as Darkstalker quickly got out his chess board and they started playing, but the feeling of being watched never left Silver.
