9- Sick day

Silver laid in his bed all cuddled up by himself, he slightly wished Gradient could have stayed so he could at the least have someone to cuddle for warmth or talk to, but Darkstalker and Whiteout were very important to both of them, so he understood why he had to go. Silver simply confined himself into a position to attempt to keep warm, he would use his flamesilk but last time he used it while sick half of their home got burnt and Gradient got a scar.

Silver suddenly heard talonsteps and a familiar voice saying, "Hello? Anyone here?" Silver recognized the voice and weakly yelled back, "Yes, come in!" He then began to cough a bit, the dragon then came in and Silver's guess was right, it was Stonecrusher, "Hey Silver, is Gradient here, Queen Vigilance has a letter for him." He asked looking at Silver with slight concern, Silver shook his head weakly and said, "No, he went to give Darkstalker and Whiteout their hatchday gifts."

Stonecrusher nodded then said, "Ok, well... You don't look well, I could stay until Gradient returns if you want?" Silver blushed slightly and said, "Th-that would be great!"

Stonecrusher quickly grabbed Silver some fruit from he and Gradient's ice box before saying, "So, Silver... The Queen also had a question about you?" Silver peaches up slightly and said, "What is it?" Stonecrusher then said, "Well, she's curious about your relationship with Gradient, she and a few others seem to believe you and him are more than friends?"

Silver nearly chocked in surprise and said, "No, me and Gradient are just friends." Stonecrusher nodded and said, "I knew that but the Queen wanted me to ask personally, she has her eye set on getting Gradient for his animus blood." Silver smiled a bit, Gradient may not have a relationship built on love but Silver knew Gradient would easily get into the Queen's heart after Gradient got the chance to talk with her more.
