Next week na yung exam ko, and I finished my tasks na rin kanina before ako magprepare for tonight's dinner. It's quarter to 6pm and nag-aapply na lang ako ng light make up. Ian infromed me beforehand na kami lang ng dad niya ang magd-dinner so I should dress comfortably lang daw. Not long after ay dumating na siya. I went downstairs and saw him mano to my parents. When he saw me, he handed me a bouquet of beautiful red roses.

"You look beautiful." he complimented me even though I was only wearing a black corset-like dress over a white long sleeve.

"Thanks," he's wearing a purple polo over a white t-shirt. He also wears shades kahit madilim na, such a weirdo. Nagpaalam na ako kina Mom and Dad tsaka kami umalis ni Ian. As usual, he opened his car door for me. Their house is fifteen to twenty minutes away from our home so it will take some time.

"How have you been? Hindi ako masyado nakakabisita sa'yo lately kasi malapit na ang finals, I've been busy with my plates din." he starts the conversation when we stop at the red light.

"I'm fine, busy rin ako finishing my reports and taxations." true, napakarami kong ginagawa now dahil pati ibang minor subjects ko aren't considerate.

"Damn, ang hecting nga talaga ng sched lalo na tuwing finals. I'll make it up to you once it's all over. Alam ko namiss mo rin ako, eh" he smiled at me and I gave him a small smile in return. When the light turns green naging tahimik na uli kami both so he decided to open his stereo. He was about to change the song but I told him not to. I'm not familiar with this song, but I love its intro-- ang kalmado.

"You like Tadhana pala, huh?" I just hummed in return. Maganda yung song, tunog in love na takot masaktan.

We arrived at their home a few minutes later. It's a Mediterranean-style house.  We were greeted by a maid who led us to the dining hall. Ian's dad, Tito James is not here, yet. Ian pulled me a seat before sitting beside me. Medyo malakas ang aircon sa house nila kesa sa amin kaya medyo naiihi ako. Wala pa naman si Tito kaya I'll use the restroom na muna.

"Ian, I need to use the restroom," he offered to show me his room kasi meron daw siyang restroom don, but I declined. Ipinaturo ko na lang sa kaniya ang directions in case dumating si Tito, ang sama naman tingnan if sabay kaming bababa mula sa room niya. Baka kung ano pa maisip nila. I wouldn't like that.

I went up the staircase and turned right. I was in a rush kasi ihing ihi na talaga ako, feeling ko tutulo na. I didn't notice that someone was exiting a room on my right so I ended up bumping into them, and we both fell on the floor.

"What's with the rush ba? Ang sakit ha." I was rubbing my forehead when I heard that familiar voice, and I was bewildered when I saw the woman in front of me was Aiah.

Colet and I just got off the plane. She wants a break daw kaya Tito gave her permission to come with me here in Manila since tapos na yung work nya na pang isang buwan sa company.  I stayed with them for a week to help with our family business, even tho I am a graduating student taking a Teacher Education Major in Mathematics. I'm helping my Dad with our family business in Cebu. Tito Vincent, Colet's father is the husband of Dad's younger sister, Tita Nicole. Iyon ang reason why Dad summoned me right after I got discharged from the hospital three weeks ago. Tito Vincent needed my help with the financing and the outreach programs. Medyo nagkaproblema raw yung team na naka assign doon, and they believe na kaya ko yung task kaya ipinatawag nila iyon kay Dad.

Grabe I'm so tired na talaga. We decided to hail a cab na lang para hindi na hassle pa magwait sa driver namin, alam ko pagod na rin itong pinsan ko. I called home to inform Dad na nakabalik na ako sa Manila, and on the way na ako with his favorite niece. He then told me to hurry para makasabay na rin kami ni Colet sa dinner.
