Her Hatred Patient.

Chapter 32

Both Deepthi and Karthika went straight to their HOD cabin to raise the complaint. 

K: "Excuse me, sir"

Head: "Oh, Karthika come and Deepthi you are here? "

K: "Yes sir, we came to complain seriously about Deepthi's Work schedule."

Head: "I think Deepthi should speak about this Karthika. Let her speak."

D: "As you know sir, in our team Vaishnavi and Vikas were made unavailable all of a sudden. And I became all alone to manage between my regular work and our VC's exclusive treatment. Even though the timings were flexible, I couldn't manage as a single doctor from our department. I couldn't work without a team support.

Karthika came to help with my situation. She was ready to join the team so that can reduce my pressure to some extent. 

I came to propose this complaint. And I will not be going to treat him without any team support."   

Head: "I understand Deepthi. But the announcement that was released yesterday was not my decision. Vaishnavi went to support the medical campaign that was going on and may not be available for the next 15 or 30 days. Vikas took an emergency leave as his mother was not feeling well and we don't know when he will be coming.

A committee above us controlled this selection, I couldn't control or change it.  But I can suggest or pass on any complaints. So, I will forward this to our higher management as well as the committee and propose this idea. 

When i watched the yesterday's notice, i thought they were doing without any idea. Who could a schedule like this baseless? If it's in my control, i will definitely replace the other 2 in your team to Karthika or someone. Deepthi remember, You need to work with the team they choose. They will only consider my complaint mainly, so adding Karthika in your team may not possible. But you are not going to be all alone. You will be assigned to any team that I didn't control."

D: "Okay sir, I can work with any team even if they are not familiar with me. I just need some team support to treat him so that we can work together and analyze the report that needs to be submitted since handling everything brings a lot of pressure."

Head: "Okay then, I will pass this complaint to them. Within this week you will get to know about your team and revised schedule. Okay?"

D&K: "Okay and Thank You, sir."

Both the friends left his cabin and Deepthi felt so happy.

K: "Are you happy right now?" 

D: "Yes and relieved so much."

K: "Then say it loud. I don't know telepathy."

D: "Okay 😂 I am so happy right now."

K: "See, how simple it was. You went too far and it's me who dragged you back."

D: "I know you will be there for me. So, I can go to any extent 😉"

K: "Uff...........you were a great fool. But why did you go so emotionally unstable last night? You could complain like this or you can work alone. What's bothering you?"

D: "I forgot that I have an idea of complaining and overthought about the situation 🤦‍♀️.

 What did you say? 

Do I need to work alone?

Say less. Treating him makes my intuition doubt whether I am a doctor or not.

He is very interactive with us and asks us several doubts regarding his symptoms as if he were the actual doctor. 

I never ever have the guts to stand in front of him. so working in a team picks you sometimes."

K: "Okay anyhow you will be on the team again. Don't think about that too much."

That weekend Deepthi was announced that she was joining with U.S team of senior doctors temporarily. Her position will be later sorted after a couple of weeks.

Deepthi felt a bit relieved as she wasn't going to face him alone. So he never questions about their past. But a little nervous was hitting her, as it was the team of seniors and she may not match with them and could easily point out her mistakes. So she messaged her friend,

K: "That's fine. At least, you will not be lonely. It might be hard for you, but you will get used to it. Since it was temporary, don't think too much. Maybe after a couple of weeks, Vikas or Vaishnavi may return."
