Her Hatred Patient.

Chapter 58

"Ma-" Parthiv tried to speak after the next 16 hours when he was responding. His voice was so weak that he could barely open his eyes. 

"Don't speak anything Parthiv. Just relax, don't burden yourself dear." Meena relaxed him to her best.

"I didn't mean to-" She silenced him and calmed.

"Parthiv, just don't talk about anything now. Relax and rest yourself. If that is an emergency, we will talk tomorrow. You just recover well without thinking about anything. I will take care." Pankaj soothingly requested him.

Due to the dizziness, he closed his eyes and slept again.

They both came outside and Deepthi's parents were waiting outside. 

R: "How is he Pankaj? Can he able to open his eyes?"

Pj: "Yes Rajiv. He was so weak and couldn't even speak."

R: "He will. Let him rest so you do."

M: "We will stay here for some more time. You take some rest, we troubled you a lot."

S: "It's nothing. We will go to Deepthi's home and come by this evening."

With this Rajiv and Samyuktha left for Deepthi's home.

Deepthi prepared everything for her parents and left saying to take rest before coming this evening to the hospital.

She went to her regular shifts and tried to get back into her work as usual. She is doing her work normally and asking about his condition who checked him.

She felt relieved but was worrying deep down despite asking everyone who was checking on him.  

 It was evening and she called her parents as they were about to come.

D: "Dad, did you start?"

R: "Yes Deepu just now. I got a call from Pankaj that he couldn't sleep properly and was disturbed. Why can't you check on him once?"

D: "Oh, is it? I didn't know about this. I am going right now."

With this, she cut the call and went fast. 

"Gosh, why shouldn't he let us live in peace?"

She went near the room and Pankaj came outside.

D: "Uncle, How's he now?"

Pj: "Not really, Deepthi. He cried in sleep and got disturbed the whole time. The doctors were about to check now. I couldn't even sit peacefully for 10 minutes. I hope the culprit should face the same pain for which he is in this predicament."

"They were facing uncle" She muttered.

I will once check him" With this added, she went inside.

She was watching those beeping sounds around him and he was lying on the bed with his syringe-covered veins and oxygen mask. It was not new to her as she had seen many in that position, but watching him gave her a personal attack.

S: "Parthiv, why should you take this pain? I will pray to god, so he will forgive our mistakes if any. We will do anything to save your life, I hope the one who is trying to destroy you should know this. Just tell me, who is the reason behind this?"

Tears rolled down from Deepthi's eyes and hands were trembling thinking that this was going to be the last day.

Her heart was thumping so fast and she was taking deep breaths out of nervousness.

Parthiv was irritated and rolled his eyes, saying,

"Ma, never I want to think about my past. I am the one that should be responsible for every action I make. I took pills till I got sleep, so it's my work and health. There is no one to blame except myself, so don't bring this another time."

While he was saying, his eyes landed on her and stopped the conversation. 

"Deepthi, you came?"

"Yes, Aunty. I came to know that he was not getting good sleep due to insomnia. So I thought of checking him once for the medicines that need to be updated."

"Ma, you wait outside. I think she has to treat me."

With this, Meena went outside and Deepthi sat beside him.

P: "Why are you crying?

It's not your fault. I overdosed on the pills."

D: "Why do you take that much? Don't you know the limit?"

P: "I know, but to avoid the pain and restlessness I am going through I took excess pills. Only to realize that I am facing much more pain in my heart than these physical wounds and cuts."

D: "Why do you need to take that pain to your heart?"

P: "That's none of your business. I don't think that you would ever know what I am going through."

D: "Do you think I don't know?"

P: "If you know everything, why are acting up this much?"

Deepthi widened her eyes only to realize that she asked him crossing the limits, to which she was about to leave. 

Parthiv held her wrist tightly to which she panicked for a second, and was trying to release from the grip. 

He closed his eyes and leaned back while she was trying her best to pull her hand out.

"He was injured like this, yet his grip is so strong" She murmured.  

"It's hurting Deepu. You know what, i am pulling all my energy to hold your wrist like this."

with this, she stopped her efforts.

"You can't escape this time." He added.

D: "Accepting something from our fate is not at all easy."

P: "I know that you don't  like me. Even i don't know why am i putting these efforts, when i know the answer is a rejection. But i believe in destiny."

D: "Destiny? You should focus on something that is valuable now. I don't know the number, of times i told you, but i repeat please take care care of your health."

P: "Why does that bother you? Didn't you told me to stay in my limits. Why should you concern like that for a patient like me? Why should you cry for me or wait for me all the time? More importantly, why do you care for me if you hate that much?"

D: "Cause you are making my heart heavy. You can say, that it's not my fault or i don't need to blame, but every time you hurt yourself it kills me. I don't know why should i think about you, but when i realize the pain or emotions you are going through by me hurts you, i just want smack myself. I regret so much after hurting you mercilessly, but i really want you to know that i don't have any energy left with to be with you at any point of life. I am hardly figuring out my life these days, so i want you to not disturb my personal life. Dealing with myself was really challenging these days, so please take care of your life. I don't want anything from you except you being happy and healthy all the time. I have to carry a life time regret if you hurt yourself and i am the reason for that and that is the reason why i am trying to limit your presence in my life. Please try to understand from my side, and accept the fact that we can't stay together forever happily. The only possible best option is, you take care of your life and be happy which makes me relieved and i will sort out my things sooner or later. Parthiv, let the flow of our lives shouldn't be disturbed by any of your useless plans naming it as destiny. I actually hate my fate and destiny, so dare not to disturb my life."
