Chapter 44

Deepthi decked up for her work and she was a bit hesitant to meet the team in front of him but anyway, that's how she was supposed to do.

Sara was there at his mansion after some formal greetings, the team which is led by Nick was checking his records. Nick and other senior doctors left for the hospital to meet the committee executives leaving the instructions to the team and Sara was there to assist Parthiv, all this happened before the arrival of Deepthi.

Deepthi came into the room nervously as she was already late.

D: "Hello everyone, myself Deepthi. I-"

Sara interrupted saying,

"oh, so you are Deepthi who joined our team from the Delhi branch. I have heard about you."

Deepthi smiled politely to which Sara continued,

"But I was so disappointed that you didn't even make it on time sense despite the fact our team will be here today."

She crossed her arms over her chest and tilted her head waiting for the answer.

Deepthi's face turned pale after listening to her Sarcastic reply and stood silent.

Watching everything Parthiv said,

"Hey, don't mind her, Sarcasm runs through her blood. She doesn't have a sense that others might hurt."

Sara frowned after listening, "I don't have sense!!! What do you mean by that? She came late and you are mocking me in front of her."

"Hey chill, she is just a beginner and started her practice a couple of years ago. Many senior doctors haven't come yet. I never mind her timing, just don't scare her. Let's end it here, you don't need to make it a scene right?" Parthiv tried to cool the environment.

"So, what's the result? Any progress you noticed?" Sara changed the topic.

D: "Um- Yeah he is been recovering slowly. His sleep was increasing gradually without any pills. The report states that his chronic pains are healing slowly. He needs to recover from the depression and nervous breakdown. We are planning for some scanning tests, but he hasn't been coming out of his room..............."

Deepthi went on to explain the complete status of his health update to Sara. She and her team noticed and listened and that day went fast.

While walking towards her home, she saw Karthika who was coming on the opposite side with a bag of groceries.

She waved to her and waited for a moment. Karthika asked loudly while approaching her,

"Hey, so how was your day with your Parthiv?"
