Parthiv was thinking seriously about the reason for her absence. He was mentioning her from the very beginning and yet she missed it. It's worrying him that something might happen to her. He came back to his thoughts when he got a call from Jeevan.

J: "Sir, I checked the records and came to know that she applied for leave last evening. The reason was that she was going to meet her parents, which was highlighted as urgent. She was perfectly healthy, so no need to worry. Maybe, her parents were sick so she left unexpectedly."

P: "I think no Jeevan. When I called Mom, this morning, she told me that my dad met Rajiv uncle for a casual meetup in the middle of the conversation. If there is something, had I not known until now?"

J: "So, what should we do now?"

P: "Just leave it. I will handle the rest."

Parthiv's POV

"Why didn't she attend the event?

Is she hiding something from me?

I called her last night and informed her about my arrival. She seemed normal, and she didn't give me any hints that she was taking leave.

I didn't expect that she was facing the same awkwardness even after treating me for several months.

I don't want to blame her, but I know she is distancing herself and trying to avoid purposefully.

How should I tell her that it was not at all her mistake?

How should I tell her that her presence changed my entire life?

She is trying her best to avoid me on every occasion. But she knows that I am not letting her go at any cost.

When will she ever give me a chance to speak?

Uff..............................It would be great if she let me explain everything once.

Why are you giving me a tough time Deepu?"

Meena: "So, Parthiv, you finally completed your visit. Can you come home now? I heard that your wound is not healing fast and came to know that you are so weak. That was the only reason I wanted to stay by your side, but when did you ever listen to my words?"

P: "I am fine. Okay, I accept that I almost fainted after every event to which I had to put the saline. But if I sit and stay forever, nothing is going to be improved. It's difficult now, but I believe that I will get used to it over time. I am still loving it and I came to know that there is so much that I need to focus on now."

M: "As a mother, all I expect you to be healthy and safe. I will be happy for your achievements, but if you are sick, that bothers me every time. Don't make my heart heavier anymore, please come home and you can go back after you recover completely."

P: "Okay, I will come. Please don't worry too much. But, is there anything wrong with Rajiv uncle or his family?"

M: "No, they were fine. He came like he used to come every time. Why?"

P: "Nothing. I will tell you when I come."

.............................................................................................................................

Parthiv went to Pune after 7 years and seeing his hometown gave him a sense of relief and calmness. He was brought up here and his life turned when he saw that girl.

The three sat for dinner after a long gap and it felt nostalgic. He truly missed these moments while fighting for his life over the years. He values the moments that add beauty and purpose to the life.

Parthiv: "Sorry ma and Sorry dad. I made you worry so much over these years. I bothered you so much, I am regretting that so much."

Meena: "You don't need to apologize Parthiv. We always know who you are from the start. But we never expected that you were holding that pain."

Pankaj: "Don't regret too much for that Parthiv. As you know, after going through any obstacle in life, you will understand something. That worth your life to not repeat the mistake again and that realization may even change your entire life."

Meena: "But Parthiv, I completely believe that you are healing now. I don't want to bother, but can you tell us about that girl?"

Parthiv: "Wait. You know the reason behind this. Who told you?"

Meena: "Don't worry. We didn't found about her. When I asked those helpers who were there with you before your depression. We tried to find her desperately, but-"

Parthiv: "Ma, it has nothing to do with that girl. I screwed up everything. Moreover, that chapter was completed and I don't want to remind them again."

Pankaj: "Whatever, I was so surprised that she didn't even bother to visit you once, while you were on the edge of death. Good thing you got rid of her."

Parthiv: "Dad, it's me who hurt her so much. She was almost vexed with her life by the way I treated her and I know that she was still regretting that decision. I created the mess, so please don't say anything about her, and I don't want to talk about this topic."

Meena: "Please leave this and talk about something else. And Parthiv, you told me that you had something to say while we were on the call."

Parthiv: "Yeah. I have been thinking for a while, how about inviting Rajiv uncle and his family for lunch the day after tomorrow? Deepthi really hustled a lot while treating me. Not gonna lie, her lifestyle became like hell. She was treating me regularly and doing her regular work and her team was supposed to leave her alone and another team came only to be bashed by them. I myself felt so pitied and can imagine the struggle and pain I kept her. So, it would be great if we treated them respectfully."

Pankaj: "Yeah, I was about to ask them. I think Deepthi was also here. So let's invite them for lunch."
