Her Hatred Patient.

Chapter 51

It's been six months and Parthiv completed another couple of surgeries. Time went as a repetitive clock for him. Completed one surgery, took some rest, and improved his immunity for the next surgery. He completely changed his habits and became so health conscious. 

He refused another couple of surgeries after knowing it wasn't that urgent. He even tried to visit India once, but he couldn't make it due to circumstances. He made sure to update her on everything but occasionally received messages from her. Sometimes he got disappointed but still happy that she was replying.

Here Deepthi came back to her regular life and focussed more on herself. She was trying hard to make sure she gave dry replies to his messages, but sometimes she couldn't control herself. She was hustling yet enjoying that as it was her choice.   

Vaishnavi and Vikas returned shortly after Parthiv left and the 4 became a group of friends.

K: "Did you know that V.C. is returning to India within a couple of months?"

Deepthi who was busy on her mobile lifted her head after listening.

Va: "Really? Is that true?"

K: "Not sure."

Vi: "I also heard that he refused a couple of surgeries. Specifically, his neuro conditions are functioning better. When we used to treat him, we came to know a lot about the complaints. He was doing fine."

K: "If that's the case, you 3 have to meet the chairman as he will be so happy that you played an important role as well as with the seniors for curing his son."

Va: "Deepthi did so much for him. Not gonna lie, she cared for him so much more than anyone else on the team."

D: "Hey, that's nothing. Since you both are not there to report the progress, I worked more than twice in your absence. Good thing that he was recovering. But, it will be great, if he completes the rest. Someday or the other, he has to get done right?"

K(Murmuring): "Who knows if he is missing someone badly?"

Deepthi glared at her.

Va: "What?"

K: "I came to know that he was in such a rush since he wants to focus on their business as it's getting difficult for the chairman to manage everything."

Their conversation ended up soon after that and they got back into their work. 

While heading towards home, Deepthi and Kartheeka were walking together and Kartheeka initiated the conversation.

"Seems like someone is feeling happy for the V.C's arrival......................................"

D: "Who?"

K: "Don't act smart. I know deep down you are so excited about his return."

D: "To be honest, I don't want him to return. I am living my life well and don't want anyone to influence and I am not interested either. It would be peaceful if we lived our lives without bothering each other. I don't have any guts to love right now."

K: "Honestly, I think he loves you. Why don't you give him a chance? You can reject him whenever you want to and-"

D: "Karthi, I don't consider him other than my superior. I neither want to date him nor love him and i don't want my presence in his life for my peace of mind."

K: "But.........Why?"

D: "Reasons don't matter now. It's a 'no' from my side."

K: "Okay, I'm supposed to tease you. I never thought you would be this serious."
