"I'm so glad we decided to close the Bakery this weekend." I sigh with relief and put my suitcase down next to the door. I'm going to spend the weekend with Lando. This weekend is the Monaco Grand Prix and Liana and I decided from the start to close the bakery because there would be no way we could handle a crowd just the two of us. When Lando found out about it, he immediately asked me if I wanted to spend the weekend with him. Since then, the butterflies have been flying even crazier than they already were before. Since we started dating two months ago, we've seen each other as often as possible. We both have stressful everyday lives but we still tried to set up as many dates, no matter how short and hectic.

"Me too. I'm even more grateful that I can spend the whole weekend with Damon and Stefan Salvatore." Liana winks at me.

"You can't watch without me!" I look at her indignantly.

"Oh come on, I know you watched some episodes with Lando." There's something slightly provocative about Liana's look.

"Maybe you should go out as well. You can go to the Grand Prix with me. We can scout some rich men and..." before I can say anything else, the doorbell rings.

"Oh, there's your lover boy!" Happy about the distraction, Liana changes the subject.

Rolling my eyes, I stick my tongue out at her before I go to the door and press the button on the intercom.

"I'm coming downstairs." I say to Lando and turn to Liana again. "think about it."

"No one would look at me anyway."

I'm about to argue but Liana just shakes her head. "Enjoy your weekend babe!" she smiles and blows me a kiss.

Hesitating slightly, I grab my suitcase and leave the apartment with one last look at Liana.

When I get downstairs, Lando leans against his McLaren like he did the last few times and smiles at me. When he sees my suitcase, he throws his head back with a loud laugh.

"How long are you planning on staying?"

I look at him with a pout, but then let myself be pulled into his arms anyway and can't suppress my own smile when his lips slowly touch mine.

"Hi." I murmur against his lips.

"Hi." he grins and leans back slightly. "Let me put your suitcase away and we'll drive to my place."

Nodding, I let myself fall into the passenger seat.

We spend the drive to Monaco listening to the music in the background. Lando draws little circles on my thigh the entire ride. I enjoy every little touch and have to suppress a sigh. Everything feels so good with him.

When we arrived in Monaco, it was more than clear that Formula 1 was coming to Monaco this weekend. There are crowds of people already lingering on the streets everywhere. I've never experienced anything like this. My eyes are still focused on the crowded street behind us when Lando suddenly pulls into an underground parking garage.

With my suitcase in one hand and my hand in the other, Lando leads me to the elevator.

A little later the door opens and we enter a long hallway. In front of the door with the number "23".

We enter a beautiful, bright apartment. An open floor plan, large window front with an incredible view of the harbor. It's gorgeous. I look around curiously.

"Um, so you want a quick tour?" Lando shifts nervously from one foot to the other.

"Gladly." Smiling, I grab his hand and let him pull me through the apartment. With my hand in his, I immediately feel him relax.
