Dear everyone,

Sorry. For everything. I wonder if you'll miss me, no scrap that I know you will. Everyone here was everything I could've hoped for, but in the end, you guys could only stall my inevitable death.

Xisumas POV

We all huddled around a stone in the ground. A gravestone. Grian was gone. Truly gone.

Nobody noticed how sad he was, nobody- I didn't notice how much pain he must've been in to do this.

Tears were everywhere and there was not a drop of joy anywhere in sight, even the hermits who rarely spoke to him were crying. Scar and Mumbo were hugging, Scar muttering things through tears. I feel so bad for him, I couldn't imagine if my partner killed themselves.

And then there was Pearl. She wasn't crying, but I knew she was the most upset. She spent the whole time staring blankly at the ground, showing no reaction to anything that was said or done. Grians sister..
