Okay this is short but so cute
I think you guys deserve some fluff 😊😊

Life was traveling by quickly and the wedding was getting closer and closer. So many decisions were still left to be made and Mia was beginning to feel a bit nervous. Charlotte had so many friends who she could ask to stand by her side, whereas Mia didn't really have anyone that wouldn't rather be by Charlotte. She tried not to dwell on it too much and focus on the vision.

They had decided to get married in an older castle where their friends and family could join them in celebration. The time was closer to Fall so they fell into the more dark enchanted forest vibes. Charlotte's eyes always lit up when talking about the little details she had planned for their day. She was so excited to spend an eternity with Mia.Mia had never imagined she would be loved by someone enough they'd want to be with her for a lifetime. But Charlotte was so special and had a heart of gold so when Mia found her, she couldn't let her go. Their start together was rather rocky but she wouldn't have wanted anyone else to get her fired from her job.

Charlotte was fretting about asking Carly and Marjorie to stand by her as her bridesmaids and Mia was still at a loss at what to do. Anytime Charlotte would ask her who she was thinking about standing with her, Mia would talk in circles and ultimately just reassure Char she was still figuring it out. The stress of figuring it out was starting to get to her and she would spend half of her day at the nursery just beside herself.

This week she had been assigned at Reese's nursery and was thankful that she didn't really have personal relationships with anyone. Well except Reese. She was just going through the motions and finally got the toddlers to sleep when she heard the phone ring in the classroom. She reached around and answered in a hushed tone, she didn't want to wake the children.

"Hello?" She had figured it was a parent but was surprised to hear Reese on the other side.

"Hi Mia, when you have a moment would you please come down to my office?"

"Sure. The kids are all asleep and my cover for break should be here any time. I'll see you in a few." Confused as to why Reese wanted to see her, she agreed anyway. She knew she wasn't in trouble because Charlotte's kindness had really rubbed off on her. Once Carly came in to give Mia a moment to see Reese, she stopped her.

"Any ideas why Reese is wanting to see me? Mia asked her and watched as Carly's mouth twitched into a smile

"See I would tell you but I think you'd like to find out from him." She patted Mia on the shoulder,"Good luck, Mia!"

That's really strange, Mia thought as she walked down the hallway to the office. She stopped herself at the door before letting herself in. Reese was sat at his desk leaning back in his chair.

"Have a seat." He didn't seem to show any emotion on his face or even in his voice. She felt like a scolded child going to the principal's office. Suddenly feeling very small as she sat down in front of his desk. " I think we need to talk."
"Oh no. What happened now?"

"I don't really know. How about you tell me? You've been so lost in your mind and it's obvious something is bothering you."

She straightened up in the chair, crossing her legs. "Did Charlotte put you up to this?"

"No believe it or not, Aut did." He cleared his throat and looked away from her,"I know it shocked me too."

Mia couldn't hide the surprise on her face to hear that not just Reese was worried about her, but also Autumn.

"Oh." She paused as she heard the door to the preschool open and shut. She could the click clacking of heels on the floor.

"Speak of the devil." He chuckled,"She said we all needed to sit down and chat. Something about if you're having 2nd thoughts about the wedding that she's going to-"

"Big brother." Autumn cut him off, her eyes like daggers.

"Little sis. Nice of you to join us."

Mia was still stuck in her shock as Autumn sat down next to her and turned towards her.

"Mia. I'm sure Reese here hasn't gotten to the point yet. But we can tell something is wrong. Nothing to do with your job but as your-" Autumn swallowed,"friends. We are concerned about you."

Mia felt strange at the declaration of friendship. She had made the siblings lives a living hell for years because she felt she had no other choice. It had been almost two years since they had talked everything out and healed from their complicated relationship together. She saw Reese as her best friend still from the past and Autumn still her little sister but the bond wasn't the same anymore. To be called their friend made her heart skip a beat and feel a bit special.

Mia cleared her throat as she looked down at the ground,"I'm so happy to be getting married to Charlotte but I'm so nervous. She asked for Marjorie and Carly to stand by her as her bridesmaids and I've got no one. Anyone that I've thought of asking would rather be on her side."

Autumn looked towards Reese and then back to Mia. She rolled her eyes and kicked her brother in the shins causing him to speak. "And what makes you think you have no one? "

"I just know I was a horrible person and Charlotte is the sunshine. I wouldn't blame anyone for choosing her over me."

Autumn couldn't help but laugh,"Have you even asked anyone?"

"Uhm... no."

"Well, I can speak for myself and Autumn but there's two people who've been waiting ages to be asked if they would stand by you." Reese reached out a hand to Aut, who slapped it away. "Fuck! I'll just speak for myself then."
Mia felt the smile on her face growing bigger, "And who could those two people possibly be?"

Autumn scowled,"Oh my goodness you're such an idiot." She gestured to herself and Reese, "Us! We both would love to stand by your side. I never had a big sister growing up beside you and I'm pretty sure family is usually at the wedding."

"You know, I knew pretty fast when he mentioned the two people but I just wanted to hear you express some emotion other than annoyance."

Reese couldn't stop himself from laughing at Mia and Aut, bickering like siblings.

"Oh whatever. Are you going to ask or not?" Mia thought of Aut continued to huff and puff, the nursery might blow away.

"Okay okay. Reese and Autumn, will you stand by my side as I marry the love of my life?"

"No." Reese deadpanned, causing both of the girls to look at him in shock. "Just kidding. I'll be there. But you've gotta take us shopping for our outfits."

"That's just because he can't dress himself without looking like a little boy graduating from preschool." Autumn snickered.

At that point, Mia lost it and the office was full of laughter. For a moment, they were transported back to their youth where they could spend ages just making each other feel good
