"Yeah it's cool. Thanks for letting me pick out my own outfit, Mama. I didn't really want to wear a dress."
Ren leaned into Char's embrace.
She had been experimenting a lot with her style and it led her to not really wanting to wear dresses anymore. She was currently wearing a denim jumpsuit with a gold star chain around her waist loosely. She looked so much older all of a sudden to Charlotte and she loved watching her once little girl expressing herself.

Ellie was too busy shoveling down her waffle and eggs to talk. She still looked a bit a mess, but she was nearing 9 years old and no 9 year old ever looked perfect. Ren had used the curling iron to accentuate Ellie's natural curls. She wanted to match her big sister of course so she wore denim overalls with a white shirt underneath. Watching the love shared between her daughters reminded her so much of her own brother and their childhood.

Renee was rambling on about something to do with her friends when Mia came down the stairs and Charlotte's breath caught in her throat.
