(Oliver's pov)

I wake up...

"h-hello?"

I'm not awake.......

its a dream.....

Surely I didn't die.....

right?...

right......

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------"-------! that's not fair!" I hear a faint voice, its Alice's. 

"I wanted the swing!" she says. 

"Too bad! Go play with your rabbit instead!" Another little girls voice.......it's.....me.

too many bad memories..... to many things to keep track of.....wish they would go away.

I panic, stuck in the black void of my mind.......can't.....get.....out......

I hear sobbing.....Zip?!

"ZIIIPPPP!!!" I call out.....no response......that's right......she cant hear me...

I curl up and cry, I haven't cried for some time now.....I never knew that I needed to.....

that's a lie.....I always need to cry, the past keeps coming back....."WHY WON'T IT JUST GO AWAY?!" I scream, the echoes give me a migraine. I pass out again.

"zip....." Edward says. "I don't like seeing you like this...."

"It's all my fault, it's always my fault....." She responds no emotion other than stress.....

"no, it's not your fault, who made you think that...?" Edward says, understanding how much pain she was in..... she has known Oliver way longer than he has, which makes them a whole lot closer.... than him and Oliver ever will be..... if I say he's jealous, I wouldn't be wrong. But he isn't exactly that either, he thinks Oliver is a mean person and frankly wants him to stop bullying Claire and Engel's crew, maybe soon he won't need to worry about that anymore.......no! He can't think like that! He looks back over at Zip, and starts to cry as well. "He will be oka-" Edward gets interrupted by the sound.....of a flatline coming from the machine hooked to Oliver. Both of them whip their heads and look at Oliver in horror. "HELP DOCTOR!!" Edward yells and runs into the hall, leaving Zip standing there wide eyed, weak, and on the verge of screaming.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------Engel and Claire had heard some rumors and decided to come to the hospital to visit and see if Zip and Edward were okay, they could care less about Oliver. They had finally made it to the hospital and checked in, they rode up the elevator.... but when they got out....... "HELP DOCTOR!!" They heard Edward scream. They ran over past him and into the room, Zip was sitting on the ground, she couldn't move. she couldn't talk. The doctors came running in, the three got out of the way, Claire and Engel had to drag Zip out because she wouldn't stand up. "NOOO!!!!" She protested, "LET ME GO BACK!!!". "Zip, calm down, it's not too late. They'll bring him back" Engel said. "NOOO!!" She screamed again, "I DONT NEED TO LOSE ANYONE ELSE!!!!". "What are you talking about Zip?" Edward said in a calm whisper, crouching to her level, trying to soothe her. "I-I...." She stuttered starting to cry. "What happened?" Edward said sitting down with her and letting her sit in his lap, and cry into his chest. He stroked her hair to calm her down, it seemed to be working. "I-I lost my dad when I was five...." She said. (THIS IS NOT CANON, I MADE IT UP!!!!) "o-oh...." Said Edward pulling her closer. "H-his h- hea-heart f-fail-failed." She said between sniffles, almost about to cry again. "shhhh. It's okay." Edward said in a comforting tone. Claire and Engel were watching while subconsciously scooting closer to one another and holding hands to comfort each other. Claire laid on Engels shoulder and started to tear up. Engel noticed this and started heating up, his face turning pure red. He then started to comfort her by caressing her back. The doctors came out.... this was the moment of truth, was Oliver okay? "He will survive.....IF we find a lung donor. But even if we do, after the procedure he will be in a deep coma". "oh....." Zip said, extremely upset that she could still lose her best friend. "well, do you have any donors?". "Not any with his blood type....." The doctor said looking down to the ground. " I hate to say this..... can you take some of my blood to test it and see if it could work?" Zip said, determined to save her friend. " Zip no!" Edward said, "You would die to save his life.....". "I'm perfectly fine with that." She said. "WELL IM NOT!!" Responded Edward in an upset tone. "Zip, I don't want to lose you...." He said. "Sir, don't siblings usually have the same blood type?" Engel asked. "Yes, that is a common occurrence." Responded the doctor. "You hear that? Lizzy might have the same blood type as Oliver!" Engel said extremely hopeful. "Miss. Circle would kill us if we sacrificed Lizzy though...." Said Claire still leaning on Engel. "Not if it's for Oliver, she would do anything for him." Engel responded. "Let's go tell her then." Said Claire. "Okay" Engel responded, and with that they left, letting Zip and Edward choose if they wanted to stay. "Ok then, with that I'm going to take my leave. Feel free to stay here tonight with your friend." "Thank you doctor.....-" "Morton, my name is Dr. Morton" "ah, ok! Thank you Dr. Morton!" Said Edward. Zip stayed quiet, the whole night, she slept on a bench in Oliver's room with Edward. Quietly praying that Miss. Circle would sacrifice Lizzy for Oliver. She just had to make the right choice.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------Word had spread all through the school that Oliver had flatlined and got brought back. It got spread all the way to Alices room. Alice was seemingly upset that Oliver could die, even though she killed people(paper) for a living. She decided to leave that night, hiding in the shadows until she escaped the school and made it to the hospital. She walked in to Oliver's room to find Zip and Edward on the bench by the bed. She made sure that they didn't wake up, they were light sleepers. She then walked over next to Oliver and touched his hand, he tensed up, as if he was going to awaken. But nothing happened. Alice sighed, even though she didn't really show how much she really cared for him, she treasured him. She loved him. She loved him, because he saw the real her, not the monster that everyone else does. She missed his annoying smirk already. She missed him..... She walked over and crawled into the hospital bed with him and hugged him as tight as possible. Then she decided to try and find him. Inside his mind. She meditated for a second then spawned into his thoughts, she saw him, sitting on the ground, crying. She saw his memories, and realized what was wrong. Alice walked over to Oliver and sat next to him. "A-ALICE?!" He sounded surprised. "wait, you're just another memory aren't you...."

"no Oliver I'm really here" She said, her eyes softened at the sight of his tears fading away, he hugged her in excitement. "I missed you...." She said. "I know...." Oliver responded. " I missed you too.

Eventually it started to get brighter outside and Alice left, back to her room in the school. Zip and Edward woke up and checked on Oliver. "He looks happy...." Zip said. "Yeah, I wonder why?" Edward responded, then they left to get ready for school. They visited Oliver during breaks with Claire and Engel, then they talked to Alice and found out why Oliver was so happy, and why Alice wasn't in the mood to kill them when they walked in. Eventually another week had gone by and Oliver was still sleeping. Alice visited him every night and told zip and Edward how he was doing. They missed seeing him but at least they knew he was okay.....for now.
