"This is my first time visiting a court and it makes me nervous to know that this is a place where one fate can be decided." Nanny Ann sighed as their car just rode into the court premises after several check-ups at the gate.
"There's nothing to be scared about Nanny Ann, it's simply just a place where victims like me get their deserved justice, but what gives me chills is that I am going to meet the devil, and I don't know if I would be able to resist my self from strangling her."
"You will do no such!" Abdul bluntly scolded, then he patted her hand and gave her a quick stare.
"Honestly, I don't know Abdul, coz a storm of rage is growing in me right now." She replied feeling her eyes moist with tears.
"I understand, and you're free to feel rage and anger, but control it, let the court take action not you, okay?" He said with a smile.
"Okay." She smiled back while sniffing in her tears.
"Finally, this is a good spot to park," Abdul says as he steers his car into a space, just then a black BMW also rode into a free spot just opposite them.
It wasn't hard for Abdul to recognize the owner of the car as it had a customized plate number with HABIBTI on it, only Najib owns cars with such plate numbers in town.
"We're here family, you all can come out." Abdul announced to them as he stepped out of the car both Nanny Ann and Hanan didn't make an attempt to leave their seats, rather, their gazes were transfixed on what was going on ahead of them.
Precisely, Emma was helping Grandma into her wheelchair while Najib now walks towards Abdul.
He dressed so casually which made him extra good-looking that Hanan had to stare at him just too much for her liking.
He was putting on a pair of faded blue jeans trouser paired with a white Tshirt that hugged out his abs, with dark shades and white sneakers, he walked to them, and once he got to Abdul he removed his glasses glancing at Hanan, she quickly dropped her gaze to her feet and with a smirk he noticed that.
"Focus, focus Dude!" Abdul chuckled observing him steal a look at her and with a grin Najib gave him a light punch on his arm.
"We should head in, Grandma also came." He sighed.
"Yes, I can see that," Abdul replied and they both turned to see Grandma being wheeled towards them.
"Take me to Habiba," Grandma says to Emma who was pushing her wheelchair.
Once Hanan noticed Grandma approaching her, she rushed out of the car to meet her, and once they met Grandma turned teary.
"My child." She mumbled to her.
"We're sorry." She burst into more tears making Hanan also teary, she wiped her eyes dry before squatting down to her.
"Grandma, it's fine, don't cry," Hanan said.
"How can it be fine when you were deprived of your child, you went through all that alone, It's all my fault If didn't entrust you to her, my great-grandchild would be alive and you wouldn't have fallen victim to her evil conspiracy," Grandma says as she continued to cry making it difficult for Hanan to hold in her tears now, she cried and soon forced her tears to stop, with a broken voice she spoke up.
"No Grandma let's just say it's destiny, nothing can be done to change one I'll fate, right? I have accepted my fate and I'm no longer hurt, I'm fine I'm happy now." She says with a broad smile.
"Really? Are you sure you're happy? I hope you are not just saying this to make me feel better?" Grandma mutters with a lingering smile.
"No, no Grandma." Hanan laughs acknowledging her smile. Najib also has a bright smile on to see the two most important persons in his life being together and happy, and with a smile, he interrupted their conversation.
