12. Escape

"I'm bigger than my body"

Blood magic swirled around the guards restricting their movement.

"I'm colder than this home"

The guards were lifted up in the air. Blood magic was spiralling... from her hands. Crypt's white hair fell down the length of her back. Her white skin was covered by the clothes she wore on the day Frigga had saved her. White, thin celebration armour, it had been her birthday.

Crypt ran her eyes over her appearance. She was back.

"I'm meaner than my demons"

The guards writhed in pain the control of blood caused. No one was speaking. Odin, Frigga, Thor, and Loki were all being affected by her magic. Their faces were contorted with pain. No, not Loki, she was hurting him.

"I am bigger than these bones"

Crypt looked at Frigga. "Thank you. You know what I mean" she said before heading for the exit arch.

"And all the kids cried out "please stop you're scaring me". I can't help this awful energy."

Crypt would need a lot of magic to do what she was about to do for the first time. Something she called a Loki-disappearing-act. Red strings of glowing blood magic flowed from the restraints holding the Asgardians. They would break soon.

"Goddamn right, you should be scared of me. Who is in control?"

When the last note left her lips, Crypt teleported away.

She reappeared just short of the Bifrost, she could get back to Earth. Heimdall spotted her and ran towards her drawing his sword. A few melodic notes left her mouth and Heimdall stood frozen, the blood magic keeping him in place. A horn sounded from the castle, Asgardians recovered quickly. Crypt guided Heimdall over to the pedestal the sword went into to open the Bifrost.

A few pulls of her hand and he was putting the sword in and twisting it. The Bifrost was open. Hundreds of soldiers and palace guards were sprinting down the rainbow bridge with Thor, Loki and Odin leading them.

There was no longer any place in the nine realms that would accept her. Crypt took one last look at the onslaught of Asgardians but her eyes landed on Loki and he met her gaze. It was obvious that this is not what he wants, at least that is what she wants to believe. Tearing her eyes away from him, Crypt released Heimdall and stepped into the Bifrost.
