18. Loki's pov

He had fallen from a plane.

Thor had saved him.

Odin had tried to kill the love of his life.

Odin was now dead.

Crypt wasn't moving.

Thor's hold around Loki's chest loosened and he broke free, into a sprint and jumped out of the S.H.I.E.L.D jet. All the people in the falling plane had been evacuated so there was only one person left to save.

Loki landed on the shell with a thud and immediately began to slip off the burning, free-falling aeroplane. His hands found the edge of the remaining wing and Loki looked up. Crypt was caught on a piece of metal, she wasn't moving and her eyes were closed.

Taking out two daggers Loki pulled himself along the falling aircraft towards Crypt. Fire had begun to eat the plane and they were in the rapidly diminishing area that was still not on fire.

When he got to her Crypt's skin had gone from white to an ash grey due to blood loss. The painful truth was that Loki could not get them off the plane, the bracelets were still on his wrists.

He used one hand to pry the metal from his skin leaving shallow cuts as the bracelet fell away. Loki did the same with the other restrictor. He could now use magic.

Loki moved his arm around Crypt's shoulders and let go of the plane. A green flash of light and they were in the S.H.I.E.L.D jet.
