7. CCTV

Loki lay on his bed in his cell, staring up at the ceiling. Crypt had spoke. Someone trusted him. He had shown his true form for the first time willingly to anyone. The hole in his chest had stopped existing when he was with the fox. A fox. It was a fox. A pet. Something to care for not someone to fall in love with. Loki mulled his conflicting thoughts and emotions in his head and promptly fell asleep.

Natasha was in charge of reviewing the security that Friday and it was all normal until she saw something none of them had seen. Loki and Snow where in a room together, alone and Loki was saying something. Then he turned blue, like he had been forced to do after NYC. Natasha rewound the video, turned on the sound and listened to the conversation.

Snow spoke. English. What in the world was going on. She continued to watch, getting more and more confused. Snow had another name. It made sense but what kind of name was Crypt.

Natasha closed down the computers and headed for Snow's room. She needed answers.

Knocking on the door, Snow yapped like normal and she went inside. The room was in the exact state that they had given it to her. She was a fox so she couldn't do much in the way of decorating but it hadn't taken on a home like appeal like a room should. Natasha sat on the bed and Snow sat beside her.

"I know. I saw the CCTV footage. You can speak, but don't worry I have erased it". It was probably best to not beat around the bush but the silence that followed was long.

"I'm sorry" Snow said not looking up at her, resting her head on her paws. Natasha studied the ball of white fur that helped her cook sitting on the bed, she seemed so innocent and the story about her pack brother made Snow just like everyone else.

"It's alright, do tell me next time. Would you rather I call you Snow or Crypt?" Natasha asked

The secret could no longer be contained and if anyone outside of this tower finds out she will be hunted and interrogated. "I think the rest of the team need to know". Natasha nodded and suggested that they tell them in the morning.
