Narrator

While making sure Y/n got everyone's permission to start seriously pursuing Yunah, Yunah started making sure that she had safety measures in place so no one would rat her out.

All the girls in Yunah's group all wanted the same thing, and Yunah was the fearless example of that...

At least as fearless as she could be.

"I'm out doing a school project? You got that?" Yunah said as she tucked Wonhee into bed.

- Danielle POV -

"The delivery bike is for emergency purposes only, Okay?" I told Y/n for the fifth time that night.

None of us knew how to take the situation, but we were trusting our guts and putting safety measures in place just in case.

"Don't bring a Punk to our house," Minji glared Y/n down.

"Unless it's an emergency!" Haerin cutely patted Y/n's helmet on.

It felt like Haerin and I were sending our firstborn off to war or something. It was scary, but we had to trust that Y/n had the adequate skills and luck to come back home to us.

- Minji POV -

"Byee!!" Haerin was waving Y/n goodbye like a child on their way to their first day of school.

"Stop making that face. We were instructed to protect Y/n. No matter if they choose a side or not. We knew what we got into when we took on this mission," Hanni pretended like she didn't feel the same as I did.

"Get home safe!!" The youngest of us screamed her goodbyes.

"Hyein," Haerin quickly put her in her place.

Even in the night, it wasn't safe for us to let someone in our group run a mission... whether it was for personal gain or not...

- Y/N POV -

"Ahahaha!!" Yunah thought it was funny how the girls and I met.

"So, instead of thinking that they were going to jump you, you thought they were weirdos who somehow teleported?!" Yunah couldn't stop laughing.

Yunah had put it very comically, but it was a little more than that.

"I don't know. It was kind of comforting. It was nice to know that I was being watched. I think part of it was that they all kind of resemble their grandparents," I found myself smiling at the thought of the girls.

It was true...

Even though, the girls and I hadn't officially met yet... they seemed oddly familiar...

Maybe not in looks, but in mannerism.

"Do you miss them?" Yunah suddenly got really serious.

I scrunched my nose and smiled to prevent my feelings from coming out.

"Yeah, I mean they took care of me," I tried to keep the mood light.

"Do the girls compare?" Yunah asked as she tried to feed me a piece of Gimbap.

I had to admit that a date at our university campus wasn't ideal, but it wasn't bad. I was just glad we got to spend time together at a neutral place.

"Umm, they do in personalities but not in values," I responded as I tried to chew on my food.
