Y/n ended up pretending like nothing happened the night prior. Which caused Minji to feel a little rejected.

"Let me help you with that," Y/n offered to help Minji put her socks on but Minji quickly rejected the offer.

"I'm fine," she coldly answered.

For the next few days, things were tense between the two. Y/n did their best to try to take care of Minji and return the favor, but Minji just kept pushing Y/n away.

- Hyein POV -

I almost felt at fault for the cold shoulder Minji was giving Y/n. If I had kept my guard up while going to school then no one would have gotten hurt and Y/n wouldn't have felt the need to help.

"I got it. Go sit!" Unnie snatched a knife from Y/n's hand.

We were trying to cook and Y/n wanted to help, but it seemed like Minji unnie still hadn't gotten over Y/n disobeying the rules.

Y/n glared at Minji and sighed. "I'll just order delivery," Y/n didn't seem to want to deal with Minji either.

"Whatever," Unnie rolled her eyes.

Y/n walked away and I was left in the tension they had created.

"Did something happen?" I cleared my throat.

"No," Unnie coldly answered.

I gulped and decided to just cook quietly until the food was done.

- Minji POV -

"Who ordered delivery?" Danielle asked, coming back from school.

"Me?" Y/n coldly answered.

I rolled my eyes at the sight of Y/n.

Ever since I had kissed Y/n, Y/n had been very clear about how much they disliked me. Enough for me to want to return the favor of sparing my heart from future disappointment by them.

"Y/n, your food is here!" Hyein grabbed the food from Danielle and walked over to Y/n's room.

"You're still fighting?" Dani gave me an annoyed look.

"It's not fight. We just don't get along. We never have," I answered.

"Lies. You two just have a unique bond," Dani breathed deeply.

"No, we don't," I corrected her.

"Whatever. Is Haerin home?" She sighed.

"In your room," I lowly answered.

The biggest stab in the heart right now wasn't having to interact with Y/n every day, it wasn't that I had a weak moment around Y/n, or even that Y/n looked at me like I was crazy...

It was having to watch Danielle and Haerin act like a couple.

- Hanni POV -

"Can you two get a room?!" I cringed at the couple flirting on the sofa.

Dinner had been awkward as hell without Y/n. The couple kept flirting, Minji was in her own world, and I was the only one trying to listen to Hyein's school story.

"Seriously," Minji looked annoyed.

"You're both just jealous!" Haerin teased.

I playfully rolled my eyes and was about to say something... when Minji abruptly said... "Love is stupid! I wouldn't want it for myself even if my life depended on it."
