"Can you just calm down!?" Minji yelled at Y/n.

"I just want to know what the fuck we are?!" Y/n yelled back.

Y/n had snapped. After a few weeks of sneaking around with Minji, Y/n had lost their patience. In Minji's eyes, Y/n was being temperamental...

But in everyone else's eyes...

Y/n had the right to be upset.

It wasn't so much about defining the relationship. It was about Y/n's growing anxiety over what was going on and where things were going.

- Danielle POV -

"Can you stop yelling!!" Haerin was tired of Minji and Y/n screaming at each other. She was so tired that she got out of bed to yell at them.

I don't think any of us were surprised about Y/n and Minji when we finally found out. We were all more concerned about the clash in personalities.

I was mostly concerned about the fact that Minji would sometimes forget that we only knew Y/n to a certain extent. It would take years for us to begin to comprehend Y/n and the trauma they've suffered.

It wasn't to say that we didn't have our own issues.

It was just that Y/n saw life differently.

"Go back to your room!" Minji yelled at Haerin.

I quickly got out of bed and walked out of the room upset. I hated it when anyone talked to Haerin like that.

"Why don't you shut the fuck up and go to fucking sleep? You two have been yelling for hours now," I angrily told Minji.

"Sorry, Dani..," Y/n quickly went back to their room.

Minji sighed in frustration and was about to follow Y/n to their room when I quickly stopped her.

"You know Y/n has issues. Why tf do you keep pushing it?" I crossed my arms in anger.

"Issues?" She scoffed.

"Y/n just needs to talk things through," She was being condescending.

"Then maybe you should listen," I tightened my jaw.

"I do," Minji snickered.

It rubbed me off the wrong way. The way Minji wasn't getting it.

"You know, I don't get it. Why can't you just answer Y/n's question? What the hell do you want the outcome of this damn relationship to be?" I was genuinely curious.

"I don't think Y/n cares much if it's temporary or if you're just using them for now, but at least state those intentions. If Y/n is going to end up hurt in the end... then at least say that...," I sighed as I let go of Minji's arm.

"I'm not," Minji coldy responded.

- Minji POV -

I hated arguing with Y/n but it was for their own protection.

I knew that if I admitted what I really wanted the outcome of it all to be then I would lose focus. Y/n could really get hurt if that happened. Especially because I had no if The Punks were getting ready to strike again.

"I'm sorry if I'm not listening," I exhaled as I walked into Y/n's room.

"I just want to know what you want from me," Y/n sighed as they got ready for bed.

I took a deep breath and let it out.

"You know I can't tell you that," I whispered.

Y/n looked at me with their jaw tightened but ultimately decided to let it go.

I felt guilty about having to hide things from Y/n... even my own feelings... but I had no other option. I did my best with what I could manage to share and show, but that didn't seem to be enough for Y/n anymore.

"Minji?" Y/n suddenly approached me.

"Mhm?" I hummed.

Y/n suddenly pushed me back onto the wall and pinned my arms above my head.

I gulped, not knowing how to take Y/n's actions.

"Just promise that you won't hurt me?" Y/n whispered into my ear.

"Not the way she did," Y/n let my arms go.

I looked down at my feet knowing that a part of me was doing the same thing Yunah was doing. The only difference was that I actually liked Y/n.

"Psst, asking me what we are but still thinking of her?" I scoffed.

It hurt that Y/n actually liked Yunah that much.

Y/n said they initially liked Yunah because she reminded them of me, but I hated that excuse. Yunah and I were nothing alike.

"I'm just being cautious," Y/n sighed.

"I'm not going to hurt you and I'm not going to let anyone hurt you," I cupped Y/n's cheeks.

I was left instructions to take care of Y/n. I had made a promise that I would. It was just unfortunate that those instructions don't have anything useful regarding any of us falling in love with Y/n.

Because of that, I had to make myself promises about doing the right thing.

I didn't always keep those promises, but I did my best.

"Yeah, well so far you're really shit at it," Y/n teased.

"Yeah," I smiled a little.

"But you're being unfair. You left the house knowing that it was dangerous," I tried to tease back.

"Now you're being unfair," Y/n placed their hand against the wall and hovered over me.

"Just like you, I'm not going to let anyone hurt you. Not even me. Even if you break my heart or betray me like she did,

I won't let anyone hurt you," Y/n whispered against my lips.
