Narrator

Minji couldn't help but follow after Y/n. Not close enough for them to notice but close enough to make sure she could keep an eye on them.

Minji figured Y/n was just going to meet their date, but was surprised when Y/n walked into their comfort arcade.

For about 20 minutes, Minji kept a close eye...

Until she lost Y/n.

- Y/N POV -

Minji still thought I couldn't tell when they were following me.

"Looking for me?" I exhaled when I saw Minji walk out of the arcade through the back door.

"No," Minji rolled her eyes.

I rolled my eyes too, then took her hand, and dragged her down the alleyway to my secret hiding spot.

It was an old clubhouse of The Hooligans back when The OGs were kids. It got boarded up because someone got killed in it but I sometimes roamed around it when I wanted to be alone.

"How do you know about this place? No one is supposed to know about it," Minji looked at me oddly as we stood in front of the clubhouse.

"Your grandparents raised me. What makes you think I don't know everything you do?" I smirked.

"Or maybe more," I teased as I climbed the fence.

"Y/n! Y/n!" Minji quickly followed.

I just ignored her and kicked open the partly opened basement window.

"Hey, no one is allowed here!" Minji kept trying to stop me from going in.

- Minji POV -

I had no choice but to follow Y/n into the building.

The building had been boarded up because it was the first place a Hooligan murder was committed. Back then everyone was just kids and nobody was supposed to get hurt...

But things didn't end up that way.

"Y/n!" I yelled in the dim light.

"Looking for me?" Y/n scared me from behind.

I jumped almost a foot but did my best to hold my scream in. "Don't do that!" I scolded.

"Ugh, you're so whiny lately!" Y/n complained.

I rolled my eyes and took out my phone's flashlight.

"I got it," Y/n sighed and suddenly the lights turned on.

"I didn't know we still paid utilities for this place," I looked at Y/n a bit confused.

Y/n just shrugged.

"Are you running up bill on The Hooligan's books?" I raised an eyebrow.

"I have my own budget," Y/n smugly replied.

I wouldn't be surprised if Y/n did. We had an entirely separate budget left behind for us to take care of Y/n. It was very possible that our grandparents left Y/n behind some money for them to do whatever they pleased.

"So, what are we doing here again?" I looked around a little confused.

The place looked like it was in the process of being renovated. There were flooring pallets everywhere and the furniture looked fairly new.

"I just wanted a place to ask you something," Y/n exhaled.

I gulped and tilted my head a bit confused.
