Y/n yawned as Minji sleepily changed their bandages.
Minji had slept in her own room for once and had only gotten up to make sure Y/n wasn't unintentionally hurting themselves in their sleep.
"Don't you think it's a little unfair to keep your feelings to yourself?" Y/n kept yawning.
Y/n had been a little confused all night. Minji said she had been in love very few times but she had never really loved anyone.
"Huh?" Minji asked a bit dazed.
"I'm not saying you have to confess to the people you like... but isn't it better for people to know that you love them...?" Y/n rubbed their eyes to try to get a better look at Minji.
"I mean, I tell people I love them when I feel it. It seems like a risk that's worth the price of the outcome. I would rather say it than wonder what would've happened," Y/n exhaled.

"So, what happened?" Fuma asked.
I had managed to outrun The Hooligan's guard. I wasn't trying to break things off with Y/n, but I realized I had messed up. There was no way we could possibly be together. There was no reason for me to try to keep a connection.
"It was a bust. You messed up by stabbing Y/n," I sighed.
"They're all on full guard now and Y/n isn't so easy to manipulate anymore," I threw my head back in frustration.
It all started as a ploy to get Y/n to join our crew. I was just getting close to them to try to sway them, but the plan backfired when I realized Y/n wasn't like any one of the other Hooligans.
"Y/n got in the way. I was aiming for Minji," Fuma scoffed.
"Whatever! You FUCKED UP!!" I yelled in his face.
"It probably would've been worse if you did stab Minji anyway. Y/n seems to have a soft spot for her," I sighed.
"How so?" Fuma furrows his brows.
"They have an odd love-and-hate relationship. Very much the villain arc type," I explained.
"What do you mean?" Jennifer stepped into the conversation.
"Like the type that would avenge each other if something drastic happened. Their hate drives their strained relationship, but their love for each other only makes their few good moments that much more meaningful," I thought back at how my stupidity had just caused me an important mission.
My emotions for Y/n had made me jealous and clingy. Which only pushed Y/n to fear that Minji was in danger.
Those few moments of care Minji had for Y/n were the driving force for Y/n to see me as the enemy.
All Y/n saw was that I was connected to someone that tried to hurt Minji. While Minji was seen as the caretaker that wouldn't allow that again.
"So, Y/n is more connected to The Hooligans than we thought?" Jen asked.
"Yup," I breathed deeply.
"And now, instead of having the opportunity to recruit them. We have made an enemy of Y/n," I exhaled.
"Someone who's willing to overlook The Hooligans' bad deeds to ensure their protection," I thought to myself.
Up until now, Y/n had maintained a high moral ground about whatever goes on behind the curtains of each gang. As long as Y/n wasn't involved, or put in any danger, then Y/n didn't really care about the gang wars.
