Narrator

Yunah was upset about Y/n refusing her help, but Y/n just didn't want to make her worry more if she saw the wound for herself.

"Oww," Y/n hissed in pain.

"Sorry," Minji felt bad as she took off Y/n's bandages.

- Minji POV -

I was carefully taking off Y/n's bandage when yelling suddenly started coming through the door.

"Babe, I can help you if you need it!" Yunah yelled.

"I'm fine. Minji's got it!" Y/n yelled back.

I could have sworn I saw Y/n look a little annoyed before replying.

"Okay!" Yunah sounded disappointed.

"She's persistent," I joked a bit.

"Yeah, she can get a little much sometimes," Y/n chuckled.

"That's a nice way of saying she's annoying," I teased.

Y/n smiled at me for a second... before saying... "That's not funny."

I playfully rolled my eyes as I pulled off the last bit of gauze on the healing skin. "Why do you like her anyway?"

"Why do you always ask me that?" Y/n sighed.

"Because she doesn't seem your type," I smugly replied.

It was true.

Yunah didn't seem like the type of person Y/n would go for. Y/n didn't seem to like being told what to do and they weren't clingy either. Yunah was the complete opposite of that. It looked like she had all the control in the relationship.

"What? You've never been in love before?" Y/n looked like they were trying to annoy me.

I took a deep breath and let it out. "I have.. very few times...," I answered honestly.

I could see Y/n's gulping from the unexpected response.

It got quiet for a little as I let Y/n's wound air out a bit. After about a minute, I started putting ointment in hopes that it would ease the itching a bit but Y/n just hissed in pain instead.

"So, what happened with those very few?" Y/n tried to distract themselves from the pain.

"Nothing," I exhaled deeply.

Nothing ever came of me liking anyone. The people I liked were always people I knew were unobtainable in some way or maybe I was just too much of a coward to confess...

But either way, I would still say I loved them.

"What? Bad breakups or something?" Y/n kept on with the conversation.

"Not really. Some of them I never got to date and others were just relationships I couldn't afford to ruin because dating would complicate things," I was gentle when putting the bandages back on.

Y/n tilted their head a bit and I chuckled at their odd reaction. "What?" I asked.

"Are you just someone who enjoys the butterflies rather than the experience?" Y/n made me start thinking.
