Minji watched as Y/n waved Sakura goodbye. There was nothing special in the way Y/n was behaving towards Miyawaki but it looked special in the way Miyawaki was saying goodbye.

"See ya!" Sakura was waving and giggling until she turned the corner to head home.

Minji waited for a moment before stepping up to see what was going on.

"Care to tell me why you let a stranger kiss your cheek?" She coldly asked.

Y/n snickered and raised an eyebrow at her.

"I thought you said it was fine," Y/n scoffed.

Minji locked her jaw knowing what she had said.

- Y/N POV -

Minji was being stupid.

If I really wanted to be with someone else then I wouldn't be wasting my time with her. But I liked that there was no commitment between us...

I probably couldn't handle losing someone else.

"I didn't kiss her. So, I figured it was okay to come home today without any shame," I tried to joke.

Minji crossed her arms and glared at me.

"You're not funny," she sternly stated.

I gulped before clearing my throat. The awkwardness of it all wasn't funny anymore.

"Where are the rest of the girls?" I sighed out.

"What?" Minji still looked annoyed.

"Don't act stupid. I know when you're all following me. I noticed your car earlier but I let it go. Then I saw the hooligan car," I was annoyed now.

Minji glared at me a little more before rolling her eyes and admitting to it. "Fine, but it wasn't planned. We all followed you to make sure you were okay," she scoffed.

"Now, get in the car. If you want a job at KKMLP then let's go tell the girls. I rather you have a job than to spend your time with girls around your school campus," she pushed me towards her car.

- Minji POV -

I wasn't going to allow anyone to hurt Y/n again. If I had to convince the girls to let Y/n have a low-level job at KKMLP then that's what I was going to do.

"Why do you have to ask the girls? Aren't you the president or something?" Y/n asked really confused.

It was times like this that made me realize that Y/n knew nothing about our legal businesses.

"Hyein is the company President," I coldly answered as I pulled up to our street. 

"Really?" Y/n was making me feel like we weren't following our grandparents' orders.

Y/n wasn't supposed to be involved in our other businesses. Y/n was supposed to be kept safe and away from anything dangerous. Our job was to make sure Y/n went to school, found a good parent, bought a nice house, and had a happy life.

I was obviously failing at that.

"Hanni and Danielle handle real estate. Danielle does residential and Hanni does commercial plus land deals. Haerin handles our ports," I explained.

"What?!" Y/n suddenly exclaimed.

"Then why tf are you all going to school?" It wasn't a bad question.

I took a deep breath and exhaled. "We're not too in the public eye because we want to make sure we've gotten some sort of degree to justify our positions. Because I'm the oldest, I often get mistaken for running the KKMLP. In reality, the face of that is Hyein but since she's too young we all have to weigh in on decisions," I sighed.

We were all so caught up in other things that we had forgotten to educate Y/n on every aspect of our lives... not just the Hooligans' part...

I pulled up to the back of the house and Y/n was in a rush to get out...

That's until they stopped and turned to look at me.

"Hey, I don't have to know everything you all do. I love-"

"Y/n, you're here!" Hanni suddenly ran out of the house.

"The game just started. Come on!" She yelled and Y/n took off running into the house.

I exhaled a bit relieved.

I knew Y/n sometimes said those specific words in appreciation... and I was used to the random moments when they would say that...

But, I wasn't sure I could handle those words during our weird situationship.

Truth was... I didn't really know how I felt... but I knew I was in charge of The Hooligans and I had to follow orders to never fall in love with Y/n in any way...

"Minji, come on!" Hanni yelled for me.

I exhaled deeply and grabbed my purse from the back before getting out of the car to get back into the house.
