"Mama, don't bring them back until at least 8:00!" B yelled seriously. They were both very happy that Tina had decided to move to Louisiana a few years ago. She'd gotten a divorce from Richard and felt as though she wanted a reset. Solange ended up staying in Houston though, she just said that she didn't 'feel ready' to leave her hometown, although she was in her thirties now. Tina finally had the time to watch the kids for them which they were beyond thankful for.
Mama Tina waved her off. "Children say 'bye' to your parents." B was immediately bombarded with hugs and kisses.
"I love y'all so much." She smiled. "I'll see y'all tonight." Jay was soon attacked with their hugs too and he told them the same thing. "Bye, babies!" B yelled from the doorway as they headed to their grandma's car. "Mama! 8:00 or later!" She reminded.
"I heard you, Beyoncé!" Tina yelled back.
B finally shut the door once she pulled off. She checked the time on her phone and looked at Jay. "We need to be back here by six." He checked his watch and nodded knowing exactly why she said that. He tapped her on her butt as she walked by and told her to 'hurry up.'
They drove together to the destination that Jay had picked out. It was a nice little restaurant that they'd seen around, but never had the chance to check it out. She reached over and caressed the back of his neck softly, he always smiled at the notion. She felt like she always had to be touching him and that was something he would never complain about. "I can't believe you thought about leaving me."
"Beyoncé, don't start." He said glancing over at her for a second knowing that she was about to be on some type of bullshit. "What are you even talking about?"
"You tried to leave me for your dirty assistant." Jay rolled his eyes and shook his head. He again told her to 'stop' because that was so far from true, it was ridiculous. B had to release her laugh because she was just teasing him. It was something she thought about sometimes, though, especially him saying that he wasn't even going to tell her if she didn't ask. She wasn't going to bring it up anymore, she wanted to enjoy their day out and away from the kids more than anything. But, she definitely found herself funny.
"You done?" Jay said once he'd parked the car and turned to look at her fully. She nodded her head with an amused look on her face. "No more of that." He demanded and placed a kiss on her lips before getting out.
"Finally." B mumbled under her breath as Jay came around to help her out of the car. He'd taken them out to a nice restaurant that they were both excited to try. She smoothed her skirt down in the back and held his hand as they walked together.
"After you, my heart." He said once he had opened the door for her. She smiled and told him 'thank you' with almost a blushing smile on her face. Every time they went out, it reminded her of when they first started dating for some reason. They were shown to their seats and B sat next to him instead of across from him. People thought it was weird to sit next to their date, but she didn't understand or care to understand. Sitting next to her husband allowed for them to be closer and able to touch more. She crossed one leg over his and he rested his hand on her thigh, caressing it softly.
The first thing she ordered was a glass of, well needed and deserved, wine. They typically didn't drink at home anymore, which wasn't the end of the world, but the occasional cocktail or glass of wine was always appreciated. The waitress returned and took their orders. B was feeling so impatient at this moment. The more Jay caressed her thighs, the more she wanted to get out of there. She leaned her head on his shoulder and sighed. "Stop touching me." She mumbled.
He furrowed his brows and turned to look at her. "Why? You feeling anxious?" He teased and began to caress her more and a little further up her skirt.
"Jay, get off of me." She said through her teeth and swatting his hands away. She was not going to play these games with him because at any moment she was liable to drag him out of this restaurant. 'We should've fucked before we left.' She thought to herself with another groan.
