B had been feeling weird lately and it had started to make her quite anxious. "I don't feel well." She complained to Jay yet again. He touched her forehead and both sides of her neck with the back of his hand.
"You're still feeling a lil warm, I think." He said. "How does your body feel?"
"I don't know." She shrugged. "I feel anxious, so my chest and stomach hurts."
"You need a day off." He told her. "You've been doing a lot and I don't think you've had a day off in... I don't even know how long." B nodded and thought maybe he was right. She could use a day off because she had been running wild keeping up with her life. Working, taking care of the kids, attending their events, and everything else they wanted to do. It was a lot for anyone and Jay helped as much as he could, but he didn't do things the same way as her, so less was asked of him.
"Maybe I'll take a day." She said.
"Tomorrow." He demanded. "You need rest."
"Whatever." She decided he was right, but she still had a job to do, so she was torn. She hated having to cancel meetings, but her body was literally begging her to do so. It was something she always fought herself on, but the money would mean nothing if she worked herself into the ground. She let out a groan and got her computer to email her clients that she would have to reschedule.
"I'm proud of you." Jay told her sincerely. "You really deserve this. I'll take care of everything tomorrow, you don't have to worry."
Beyoncé smiled. "Thank you, baby." She said, hugging onto him tightly. "I'm going to bed early, then." She kissed him a few times before standing up and finding her kids. Peeking in on each of them, she kissed them all and told them she was going to bed early. Once she laid down, she soon felt the strong hands of her husband around her. He pulled her closer to him, leaving no space at all.
"I love you so much, my heart." He whispered to her and snuck a kiss on her cheek. "I hope you feel better in the morning." She smiled instinctively thanked him.
B woke up to Jay calling her name softly. She groaned in response and squinted her eyes open at him. "I love you, baby." He said followed by a kiss. "Here comes your kids." He warned. They all came in and Jay stopped them at the door. "Don't come in here being loud either. A quick hug and kiss and come on."
"Bye, mommy." They individually hugged her and gave her a kiss. "I love you!"
"I love y'all, too." She smiled. "Be safe, please! Have a great day! Don't get into any trouble!"
Jay quickly hustled them along and they piled into the car. B fell asleep almost immediately after the door shut. "Mommy isn't working today?" Blue asked.
"No, she needs a day off." Jay said. "She might be feeling a little sick. We're going to have to see if she feels like getting up later or not." Blue nodded in response. Jay dropped them off, giving them hugs and kisses, before going to work to get his day started.
Beyoncé woke up again hours later and whined at the pounding headache she felt. "Oh my God." She whispered as she held her forehead with her hand, she always knew she slept too long when she woke up with a headache. It felt like years since she was able to sleep until her body naturally woke her up. She was always awoken by an alarm, a kid, or her husband. Slowly, she sat up and prepared to do something with her day off. There wasn't anything that she was dying to do, but she didn't want to stay in bed the whole day.
Beyoncé hated to feel unproductive, especially now that she had a family to take care of. It was probably the reason she was always so tired and burnt out, but she couldn't stop herself. She felt so guilty if she wasn't doing anything to benefit the family like grocery shopping, cleaning, laundry, meal prepping, etc. B let out another sigh as she finally stood up. She promptly sat back down when she got dizzy and nauseous at the same time. "No." She said aloud and immediately grabbed her phone to text her husband to complain, knowing that he would always have an idea to help her. 'I really don't feel good :((' she sent. 'Can you please come home?'
