Beyoncé woke up and rolled over to bury her face in her husband's chest. She honestly wished that she could inhale him. She deeply drank his scent through her nose and smiled instinctively when it reached her lungs. Waking up to silence often made her smile, but she knew it had to have been five in the morning or earlier and the silence wouldn't be lasting very long. Jay tried to turn over, but she stopped him immediately by holding onto him tighter. He sighed a sigh of defeat and stayed in the same position, although he was extremely uncomfortable.

"B." Jay mumbled shortly after.

"What?" She frowned.

"I have to get up, I'm uncomfortable. And Sir is going to be up soon, I need to beat him to it, so I can get a head start." She groaned and turned away from him, so he could get up. He stood to his feet and went to their bathroom quickly before Sir woke up. When he returned, B had turned away again. "Good morning." He greeted and leaned down to kiss her lips. She grumbled a 'good morning' back to him that made him frown. "Damn, why you so grumpy now?" He asked.

"Because I'm still irritated with you." She responded which made him suck his teeth and mumble an 'oh my God' under his breath. He didn't have time for her mood swings, especially this morning, it was way too early. "Don't suck your teeth like you thought that I was going to wake up and everything was miraculously going to be solved with no further discussion."

He only shook his head silently because he didn't want to start an argument at this hour. He heard Sir begin to cry and went to get him. He threw on a tank and basketball shorts before heading over to his room. "Good morning, my little man." Jay smiled at him as he picked him up. "How were your three hours of sleep?" Sir fussed and whined in his arms until Jay changed him and heated up a bottle for breakfast. Jay sat in the rocking chair while he fed him. He knew he wasn't going to go right back to sleep, so after he burped him, he took him to the bedroom with B and sat him in his rocker. He made sure he was strapped in and turned it on for him.

"B." Jay called to her. "Keep an eye on JJ while I get dressed."

She opened her eyes and looked at her baby boy. He was looking calm and peaceful as the rocker bounced him up and down. The rocker only worked for Blue and Sir, JJ and Rumi both hated it and would cry the minute they tried to put them down in it. B was so happy that Sir liked it. It made things so much easier for her. "Good morning, my sweet boy." She smiled. He glanced at her as he sucked on his pacifier quietly. He was so calm and peaceful at this moment it just made a smile appear on her face.

Jay went around walking everyone up and making them get ready, so he could do the same. "Can mommy take us?" Blue asked.

"No." Jay said sternly, they were not about to have a repeat of yesterday. "She is staying home today because she needs to rest and heal. Don't go and ask her either because the answer is already 'no.'" Blue sighed, but nodded her head in understanding. She didn't think it was fair that she dropped JJ off yesterday, but didn't drop them off. Blue shrugged it off, though, and continued with her morning routine. She didn't want her parents mad at each other again, so she let it go.

"Daddy, I need help with my hair." Rumi said meeting him in the hallway. He took the brush from her hand and followed her back to her room. Jay took a deep breath before he began to fix her hair and brush it neatly into a puff. He had been practicing, but everyday was different. The last thing he needed right now was for Rumi to go cry to B, saying that Jay couldn't do her hair right. He focused hard on it and did the best he could. Rumi looked in the mirror and turned her head to each side as she examined the puff. "Thank you." She smiled.

Jay sighed a sigh of relief knowing that he wasn't going to have to deal with anything crying from her. He always felt like SuperDad whenever he would get them ready and take them to school by himself. There was so much stuff to do that went into it. Starting with getting them dressed, doing hair, making sure they did their hygiene, making breakfast, packing lunches, etc. He knew that B had this morning routine down to a science. While Jay always made it through, he couldn't wait until he could have a break. It had been so long since he was able to have a break. And he knew that B did it much more smoothly than he ever could.
