"It's science fair day!" JJ yelled excitedly from the other side of his parents' bedroom door. B groaned and buried herself beneath the pillows. "Mama!" He yelled followed by more knocks. "We're going to be late."

"Please, get him." Jay groaned because he knew that JJ was not going to go anywhere.

"I have a headache." She complained as she sat up. "Jay, baby, enough with the yelling." She told her son as soon as she opened the door.

"Sorry, mom, I'm excited!" Seeing him so excited did make her excited as well. Over the past weeks, JJ had been working hard to conduct his experiments. He decided to do an experiment with ants, trying to find natural ways to repel them. Beyoncé personally thought it was gross, but somehow, JJ had captivated the interest of everyone else in the house.

"Did you check on your ants?" B asked him.

"Not yet, I didn't want to wake you up by opening the door." He said. He changed his shoes and ran out to the back porch to check on his ant hill. B was already apprehensive about his ant experiment and there was no way in hell that she was going to let him keep bugs inside of the house.

"How are they?" She asked once he came back inside. He responded with 'alive' and it made her chuckle. "Are you done with your poster board?"

"Yes, mama." He said as if she'd been asking him too many questions.

"I'm making toaster waffles, bacon, and eggs for breakfast. Wake your sisters, please. Tell your daddy to bring Sir down, as well." JJ nodded and did everything she told him to.

"Good morning, mommy." Blue and Rumi both entered the kitchen to greet her. She gave them both a quick hug and kiss before asking about their nights. They both told her that they slept well which made her smile.

"You both want waffles?"

"Yes, please." Blue said immediately.

"Can we have apples too?" Rumi asked.

"Yes, baby. I'll cut some up." She answered. She was actually grateful that her children all liked fruit and healthy things. They had their fair share of junk food days, but they all mostly loved their fruits and veggies.

"Good morning, y'all." Jay said coming into the kitchen with a still tired Sir in his arms. B smiled and greeted him as well. He leaned down to kiss her lips and she immediately took Sir from him.

"Hello, my sweet boy." She cooed. She took the pacifier from his mouth and handed it to Jay. "Stop giving him this." She told him.

"Why? It keeps him quiet." He shrugged.

"His teeth are coming in and sucking on that is not good for his teeth."

"Everybody else turned out okay."

"Everybody else didn't like their pacifier. Sir likes his, so stop giving it to him." Jay agreed with another shrug. She had a point, so it was no need to argue about it. "Isn't that right, baby?" B said looking at her baby boy who began to smile. "That's right, wake up, baby." She told him.

"Yeah!" JJ agreed. "It's science fair day, Sir!" He said excitedly. "Mommy, can I show Sir my ants?"

B nodded. "Take daddy with you." Jay groaned and complained about not wanting to see his gross ants, but still obliged by taking Sir outside to the back porch to see them.

B finished breakfast and handed everyone a plate. "We leave in one hour, so eat and get dressed. Meet on the couch dressed and ready to go."

"Yes, ma'am." She heard.
