Beyoncé flopped across the bed once she'd picked up her vibrating phone. "You look cute." Solange complimented her sister as soon as the FaceTime call connected. B thanked her politely and returned the compliment because she always thought Solange was so adorable. "Is your phone broken or something? Why don't you ever call me anymore?" She scolded immediately.

"Girl, please." B laughed. "I have fifty-lem children and a big baby ass husband. I barely have time to talk to myself." Although she laughed, it was a very true statement. She didn't hate that everyone wanted to be around her and talk to her, but sometimes she did need a breather. It was part of the reason she was so drained all the time. Supermom was not a job that came equipped with training and even ten years later, she is still learning the ropes.

"Mhmm." Solange teased because she was just messing around with her, she knew Beyoncé was always working hard at something, whether it was her job or her family. "How y'all doing anyway?"

"Everybody is good, things have just been flowing lately." B explained. "Nothing too crazy or eventful, and I don't mean that in a bad way. Things have been calm."

"I feel you." Solange agreed and B asked her the same question. "I've been bored and I have been missing mama lately. I have reverse empty nest syndrome." She laughed.

"Girl, you might as well just move your ass down here and stop playing." B told her. "Mama would let you stay with her in a heartbeat. She has empty nest syndrome, too."

"I knowwww." She dragged. I should've just moved when mama did." Solange groaned.

"Are you coming here for thanksgiving at least?"

"Most likely." She shrugged. "I definitely want some of mama's food. But, dad was saying something about having a little thing at his house."

B involuntarily rolled her eyes. She loved Richard and appreciated him for everything he has ever done for her, her sister, and her mother, but Beyoncé definitely chose sides in the divorce. She was a mama's girl, anyone who hurt her mama, hurt her. She went a long time without speaking to him and although they are now on speaking terms, she still didn't care to go out of her way to visit him, at least not right now. Solange, however did not pick sides, which wasn't a bad thing. "You just need to come down here, forget all of that." She finally responded.

Solange laughed. "I might!"

"Well, I miss you and so do my kids." B told her. "I need some sister time desperately."

"I miss y'all, too." She smiled and prepared to tease her. B quickly caught on and backtracked, telling her that only the kids missed her. "Whatever, girl." Solange said with a chuckle. "Listen, I gotta go. Have fun, tell everyone I love and miss them. See you soon."

"Bye, girl." Beyoncé said and blew a kiss. "We love you, too!" As soon as they ended the call, B got up from the bed and plugged her phone in. While the house was still quiet, she wanted to do some cleaning up. Thankfully, everyone was busied up, so no one could get in her way. She started in the living room, collecting books and random toys that they'd left lying around. She gathered a handful of markers that had just been sitting on the coffee table for no good reason.

Picking up the out of place things and returning them to their rightful places took her no time at all and now she was bored again. It was never overly messy around the house, it just looked lived in. Toys would clutter the first floor at times, but it took very little effort to clean that up.

Once she declared she was done with her cleaning, she went back up the stairs to go back to her room to find something else to do. "Mom!" She heard, stopping her in her tracks.
