"Like this, mama?" JJ asked and turned to his mother to show what he had done. They were both standing in the bathroom looking at themselves in the mirror. B was doing her hair and JJ was trying his best to tie his own bow tie, but it was harder than he thought it would be. After watching a few YouTube videos, he swore that he would be able to tie it perfectly the first time. But, after each attempt, he grew more and more frustrated.

"No, baby." Beyoncé said shaking her head as she looked at the jumbled mess around his neck. "Can daddy please fix it for you?" She practically begged. JJ shook his head which made B groan softly to herself. They were going to be late for the wedding if they waited for JJ to figure out his own bow tie. He was so adamant on a real bow tie and not a clip on. He also begged to do it all by himself because he thought he had to be independent with everything just because he was getting older. He saw that Sir needed a lot of care and even Rumi did, it made him want to do more things on his own to make it easier on his parents. Although that mindset in this situation was not being helpful at all.

"Mommy." Blue called and approached her in the bathroom, B looked at her through the mirror and waited for her to say whatever she was going to say. "Um, um–" Blue stuttered and stalled.

"What baby?" B asked impatiently and finally turning to her fully.

"Don't be mad." Blue started which made Beyoncé groan immediately. She knew that whatever followed that statement was going to piss her off. B nodded her head and didn't make any promises, she just waited for her to continue. "Um– well, Rumi and Sir were playing and he tried to drink Gatorade, but he spilled it all over his shirt." B only sighed at first. "It wasn't my fault!" Blue added to be sure that no blame was placed on her, she was merely the messenger.

"What color?" B asked through gritted teeth hoping to God that it wasn't red or blue.

"Red." Blue said hesitantly.

"Jay!" She yelled immediately and shooed Blue away. They didn't even have a big hotel room, so she was confused as to how he didn't see them or stop them. Jay came out of the bedroom a second later. "Blue said Sir spilled red juice on his white shirt. And before I get mad at you for giving them Gatorades in the first place, I'm going to ask you a question. Did you bring him extra dress shirts like I asked you to?"

Jay gulped in nervousness. 'I hope so' he thought to himself, but verbally responded with something else. "Yes, my heart." He told her confidently. "Let me go find one." Jay scurried off to look inside of the suitcase he packed for him. Jay hated doing any of the packing, B was much better at it than him. She always knew exactly where everything was and she was much more organized. "Please, let there be at least one shirt..." Jay huffed a big sigh of relief once he found one. "Sir!" He yelled.

"Daddy." Sir smiled when his dad approached him.

"Don't be cute with me." Jay said looking at his cute little smile. "Let me clean you up." He scooped him up into his arms and walked him to the bedroom.

"I'm sorry, mommy." Rumi said quietly once she peeked her head in the bathroom.

"It's fine, baby." She said looking away from the mirror for a second. "Please, just go sit down and wait. You do not have an extra dress if you get yours dirty. We're going to be leaving in like five minutes max. Tell your father I said 'five minutes,' please."

"Five minutes?!" JJ yelled. "Mama, I can't do it!"

"Stop getting frustrated, baby Jay." She said in a calm tone. "Can I please help you?" She asked. "I'll do it first, so that you can see, then I'll take it out and you can try again if you want to. Is that okay?" JJ sighed and nodded his head.
