Forget Past

Jessie's POV

I was shocked to see Sita at the door. She is  slightly drenched in rain. She was silent. I don't know what to ask. She came at this hour, I'm scared to bring her inside, John is here

"Can I see...I mean can you check on Ben, please" she said looking down

John came to the door

"Please, check on Ben" she begged

"If you are so concerned, why don't you go check" John said

"I can?" She asked in shock, so am I . John moved away from door and asked her to go check. She ran to Ben's bedroom, we followed her. Ben is laying down on floor. She frantically called him till he opened his eyes

"You are so beautiful, it feels so good to see you even if it is dream" Ben said in semi conscious state

"What did you do to yourself?" She asked in panic

"Nothing, just had few bottles of beer"

"Just beer... nothing else right" she asked

"Hmm"

"Tell me you are fine"

"I have to be fine to pay for my mistakes...this feels so real Sita, I don't want to wake up...I'm scared that  you will disappear" he said

"Sleep now" she said. He closed his eyes and started to snore. She place pillow under Ben's head, covered him in blanket, stared at Ben in tears. She wiped tears, thanked John and walked away

"Sit Sita, I want to talk to you" John said

"I..."

"Sit" he said. She sat down shivering. John asked me to get blanket and hot chocolate milk for Sita

"I'm fine" she said shivering

"Get Jessie" John said. Quickly I got blanket and covered Sita, she thanked. I ran to kitchen and made hot chocolate. I tried to eavesdrop their conversation but they were silent. Sita had hot chocolate and thanked us and got up to leave

"We are not done talking" John said in stern voice, Sita sat down

"Why are you here?" He asked

"Ben called me, he talked weirdly, suddenly he stopped talking. I tried calling but couldn't reach. I was scared"

"So, you came alone at this hour in rain" John asked. She was silent

"I will drop you home" he said

"I came in my car..."

"I didn't ask you, I'm taking you to your home" he said firmly

"Please uncle, I'm sorry for coming... I will never come...please don't insult dad, he doesn't know that I came here... " she begged , crying

"Let her go John" i said

"How can I send Sita go alone in the middle of the night?" He scolded me. I don't know what to make of his behavior. John is kind, wouldn't let a girl go like this but it's Sita, that's why I'm scared

"Restroom" Sita said with difficulty and ran holding her mouth....i could hear her throwing up, looked at John

"Go, check.... what are you doing here" he scolded me. Sita is throwing up violently in toilet bowl. I held her hair. She rinsed her mouth and came out, she doesn't look good. I made her sit on sofa, wanted to go get some lemonade for her but scared to leaver her with John. John gave her water. Im more scared seeing John behave nicely, not that he would hurt her
