Ray was seen sitting peacefully under a tree everyone called "Rays tree", as that's where he was mostly spotted during free time with a book, if not, in the library. As he read, a curious Mother had walked over to him.

"Oh? You're reading on your own today." She stated

"Yep."

"Where is everyone today?"

"Dunno, maybe they're playing tag in the forest." That was no lie, they were playing tag in the forest, but it was different, off, tactical.

Emma days before had made up her mind on bringing everyone along, and she had a great idea to use tag as a way to strengthen and train the littles bodies for the outside world.

"Norman is it, and everyone runs away. Using our body and brains, it's not like we can run away from the demons just by doing this. But for the escape and its aftermath, we can increase our fundamental abilities." She explained during the 18th, quarreling with Ray about how many people to bring along during their escape.

"Me and (Y/N) will teach them how to use their bodies, and as for brains.. Norman, Ray, and also (Y/N) will be the teachers. They're the students."

Soon as the days progressed the children advanced quickly, as strengthening their brains is what they did on a daily basis, it wasn't hard for even the youngest to catch onto.

(Y/N) led a group of older children, teaching them how to jump through trees, calculating the right angle and power needed to land on another tree branch safely; once that was done she would teach them to increase their speed.

"Don't think too hard or you might overthink it, think once and go, your body will adjust itself so it won't fall. If you do, brush it off, take a deep breath, and climb back up again." She would explain, running behind them from below as the children made their way through the trees.

Ray had taught his group of children to erase and make fake footprints as they ran, often bumping into (Y/N) along the way. He would only give a look of curiosity as she would grin and point up, giggling children waving at the black haired boy, then (Y/N) running off, waving at the children to follow. Ray would glare, not letting a smile crack through his face or emotions.

"Ray, why are you like that to (Y/N)?" Some children would ask, and he would only shake his head and scoff, ignoring their questions. Soon the previous game of tag had ended, (Y/N) and Emmas group lasting the longest but hadn't prevailed long enough to Normans brains.

"I thought I was doing good!" Thoma cried out, laying on the grass near Ray, as he patted the little boys hair he spoke,

"You can't just erase your own footprints. You have to check for Normans as well." Ray explained, soon after jumping up in shock, as Sister Krone had appeared in-front of the now quintuple group, little kids sitting and laying around them, happily chattering away about the game before getting startled by Rays outburst.

"Playing tag? How fun! Let me join" Sister Krone demanded, a sense of eeriness around her personality, which made the four feel slightly queasy. Soon they agreed, the younger forcing Ray to join.

"What do you mean?" Ray asked

"I want to get to know everyone! So let's play a game of tag." Sister Krone flashing her toothy grin at them all.

"Did she come to interfere? Or to spy.." Ray let his voice trail off, he was unsure of what Sister Krones true intentions were.

"It's not a problem, she won't find anything. We're all just playing a high-level game of tag. There's nothing for her to interfere with." Norman mumbled to Ray as he forcefully smiled back at Sister.
