(A/N): This chapter was actually gut wrenching for me to write, so with that I had to make a playlist for it. Whether you listen to it or not, it's not my choice. There's no particular order, but there is a Mitski reference, Class of 2013, so id say two songs before that song to have it line up :3.

Ray! Emma! Skunk! They're alive.. standing on top of a roof, Skunk holding a gun, smoke slightly lingering as I looked over at Leuvis, his mask finally breaking apart. Pepe ran by, using his only free hand to throw a grenade, a special grenade. A grenade with a flash bomb inside, as Leuvis shouted in pain, unable to see. As soon as that happened, he hunched to the ground, to hide his face, such a coward, feeling so vulnerable to mere humans, it boiled the rage inside me further. What I wasn't expecting was for him to send flying debris and bullets on the ground at us, at speeds that could have sliced my head off in an instant, clean, silent death. Pepe, closer to Leuvis than I was, tried to run off in a panic, but got his only good arm, his shoulder was cut deep, with a sickening rip that I heard.

"Pepe!" I cried out, as I ran over to him, holding his body together as Leuvis cackled to himself, before sending a thundering smash to a building, sending it crumbling. I looked at Nigel ran out, everyone seeking refuge in a building, rushing Pepe in there as fast as I could, spotting the familiar ravenette and carrot head make their way in. I panted, as I set him down, Emma and Ray helping me hold together his arm, using a cloth to hold him, as his skin seemed to turn ghastly. I looked at Ray and Emma, more than excited to see them, and I held onto Ray's hand, as he rubbed his thumb on mine, it seemed to be unconsciously.

"We should leave him here." Ray suggested, as Nigel looked at him at a distance, trembling and cursing aloud, Leuvis still taunting us, trying to figure out where we were. I tuned everyone out, trying to figure out a plan, anything... I can't have someone die because of me, there's been too many I lost, I don't think I could handle it. From a squeeze of Ray, he freed me from my thoughts, pointing at Skunk with his head, as I turned, reluctantly letting go of Ray to stand up.

"There's nothing we can do! We have to use this opportunity while his sense are screwed up to run away!" Skunk pleaded with Nigel, Nigel looking at me for confirmation of the plan, but I shook my head, making my arms into an X shape.

"No. If we run now, we won't be able to save everyone. Oliver.. Zack, Theo, the other children. Nigel, Pepe, Ray, Emma, Skunk, Lucas... I can't let anyone die anymore. We're all going to get out of this hunting ground alive." I held back tears, as I stood up against that agitating man, but I knew this was reliving some of his traumatic memories of years ago, he didn't want the same thing to happen again.

"Don't be thick headed. We can't defeat him. We'll be annihilated. If we're going to die, then we should try to get as many people out of here as we can, as soon as possible." He shouted at me, glossy eyed, cheeks slightly flushed, and at that moment, I didn't envision him as an adult, but him when he was just a child, here fighting for his life.
