"Ray, can I ask you something later?" I asked, the group of us wandering through the woods just as we had left the caves, the land above free from perpetrators.

"Sure thing, (Y/N)." Ray said, looking at me with his usual, bitchy resting face.

"Look! It's huge!" Chris screamed, just as we reached the edge of the forest, and there it was; a vast space of nothing, but we were free from the habitat of rouge demons. I stood alongside Emma and Ray, taking in the new terrain. It was bland, I won't lie, but when you've never seen something like this ever in your life (well- besides books), it's a pretty sight to see. Even the most boring stuff can be interesting to someone's eye.

"If you keep going south that way, you'll reach your destination." Sonju pointed into the vast land of nothing, and it felt odd. To see something so dull contrast against the bright blue sky. Before, I never really appreciated the sky, but now it was like a lingering reminder of the past. No matter where you are, the sky is still the same, in captivity or in freedom; but each one feels different.

"No, I don't want to, Mujika, I don't!" Alicia wailed, clinging onto Mujika as if she would disappear. The little kids huddled around her, crying and protesting loudly, Mujika only smothering Alicia's hair, and with her other hand comforting Mark. I watched, a little huff of air escaping me as I stifled my laugh. It was adorable to see them like that, but I knew we couldn't leech onto them any longer.

"We can't depend on them. They have places they have to go. And we need to learn to make it on our own." Ray came behind them, patting their hair, then slowly prying them off Mujika by holding onto their shoulders. Mark turned around and just let himself fall into Ray, sniffing into his shirt. I cringed slightly, 'I know that's going to leave a stain.' I thought to myself.

"Don't worry. As long as you walk in the wasteland, you won't run into any demons. If all goes well, you should be able to see your Mr. Minerva tonight. Make sure to stay away from the forest or water. Got it?.. be careful" Sonju pointed at Nat, Lanni, and Thoma, who all let out a shrill scream and complied. We all said our goodbyes, who even Don let out a small tear, which I punched his shoulder, smiling warily at him. I was going to miss the two, that was no joke; Sonju and Mujika taught us so much in less than a week, and it was greatly appreciated. Sonju waved goodbye at me, but instead I jumped up into his arms, clinging around his neck into a hug.

"Thank you, Sonju, for everything you've done for my family." I said in his ear, as he just let me wildly cling onto his neck. After a while, just as I was going to let go, he hugged me back, chuckling before setting me down.

"You're not bad kid, one day you might even beat me with those archery skills." He said sarcastically, but I took that as a challenge. Even if we never saw each other again, I would take pride in excelling my skills, so maybe in my dreams I could beat him. The kids soon started to surround Sonju, and I said my goodbye's to Mujika, who clasped my hand, and dropped something with significant weight into my hands.

"What's this?" I asked, as she uncovered her hands, revealing a beautiful necklace made of gold, and that resembled an eye.

"This is a amulet. Hold on to it. I'm sure it will protect you." She looked around, before looking at me with a sort of anxious expression; even with those masks I had started to memorize their facial expressions with emotions. As she looked back at me, she pulled me into a hug, and leaned into my ear.

"Search for the seven walls. The future you all seek... is beyond that." And with that she let go, and gave a soft smile at me. I was confused, what seven walls? A heptagon? But it was odd for her to not want anyone, or more so, Sonju, find out what she told me.
