Chapter 5

The starfighter approached my position, I concentrated and made one precise shot which took the fighter to the ground.

It crashed in the middle of the battlefield and went up in flames.

It looks like it was their only fighter.

Cody: Good shot, General.

He complimented me as he approached the cannon.

Cody: I bet they won't dare to take their fighters here again.

Ahsoka: We won't be able to truly defend ourselves if they did. This is the only anti air gun remaining.

Cody: Pfft. We'll order new ones. Republic reinforcements are on their way as we speak.

Ahsoka: You called them in already?

Cody: Yeah, just to be sure. Although I do believe we'll manage to push the clankers back on our own.

Ahsoka: Without artillery, we'll suffer catastrophic losses.

Cody: That's what the clones are here for, General. We're made to fight and die.

Ahsoka: I never understood how you guys could be so okay with this.

Cody: War is the sole reason why we exist.

He shrugged.

Ahsoka: Well, I-

A bang could be heard from inside the crashed starfighter.

Another bang caused the hatch to be opened.

Cody: Shit...

He mumbled as he aimed his rifle at the wreck.

Cody: Come out with your hands in the air.

Someone jumped through the hatch and landed on the ground.

I immediately recognized who it was. It was the nephew of the Baron...he's actually here.

Cody didn't hesitate for a second and opened fire at the Harkonnen.

All his shots just went through the gladiator just like Obi-Wan's lightsaber did back in the arena.

The gladiator swiftly approached us which caused Cody to retreat, leaving me alone.

Y/N: Jedi...

He said with a smile, watching my green lightsabers.

Ahsoka: You will pay for what you did back in the arena.

Y/N: What's your name, Jedi?

Ahsoka: Ahsoka, remember it well, that's the last name you're gonna hear.

Y/N: Ahsoka, huh? Your Master talks a lot about you.

Ahsoka: I will free him from you!

I thrust my lightsabers forward, but they just went through his body as the device attached to him kept vibrating and distorting his appearance.

Y/N: He will remain in his cell for the duration of our war.

I pulled my sabers out of him and slashed at his head, which he blocked with his daggers.

Ahsoka: Give him back to us, that's the only chance of staying alive that you have.

Y/N: You don't understand. The Jedi Order...they're using you as a tool for the Republic.

Ahsoka: Liar.

Y/N: You're peacemakers but you always end up being assassins that kill the political opponents of your chancellor.
