Chapter 10

We were now standing before Jabba The Hut, and I still can't believe that so many folks are afraid of him...why? He's just a worm with an army of pigs.

Han: As you see, I kept my promise.

He claimed as he showed Jabba the footage that his ship recorded.

The worm laughed in joy as he watched the Jedi getting killed.

He told Han something in a language that I couldn't understand.

Han: Oh come on, that's not enough to pay off my debt?

Ahsoka: Hold up, you have a debt?

I intervened.

Han: Not now.

He waved me off.

Jabba answered something which made Han look over to the Bounty Hunter on Jabba's side.

Han: Jango, come on, back me up on this one.

Jango: No chance, you got yourself into this, ain't nobody gonna help you now.

Han: Goddamn...fine...Deal.

Jabba spoke up once again which made Han nod.

Jango: Alright then, folks. Hands up, all of you.

He ordered as he approached us with a few guards, aiming his blaster at us.

Barriss: What the hell?

Ahsoka: Han, what did you tell them?

Han: Killing your Jedi friends wasn't enough, he wants you three as his slaves.

Chewbacca roared in protest.

Han: I'm sorry Chewie, I'll buy you free one day. I promise.

The Wookie pushed Han away from himself, which made him stumble and fall backwards.

Han: You didn't have to do that, Chewie. Not cool.

He groaned as he slowly rose back to his feet and dusted himself off.

My hand went to my lightsaber only to realize that there was nothing there.

Ahsoka: What?

I whispered, slightly panicking.

Han: Sorry, ladies. I had to take your sabers.

He said as he slightly moved his coat aside, revealing two lightsabers strapped to his pants.

I used the force to pull my lightsaber back to me just for it to get shot midair by Jango.

Barriss tried to do the same but Jango, instead of shooting the saber, shot her head.

Ahsoka: Holy-

Han: Jango, what the fuck?!

Jabba roared in anger as Barriss' lightsaber fell to the ground, just as her body.

Jango: No more weapons in the palace, you got it?

Han: Okay, relax.

He kicked the lightsaber over to Jango who picked it up immediately.

I watched him examine the saber as I held the dead body of Barriss, not able to believe that she's gone.

Ahsoka: I will kill you.

I said coldly, my gaze piercing through his helmet.

Jango: I doubt that, Jedi. You're the second high value prisoner that we got this week, looks like our golden age has begun.
