Chapter 11

Ahsoka POV

I finally saw the monster that was roaming the pit, it was Jabba's rancor, there were a lot of legends about this thing, I can't imagine how many people this thing has eaten.

Y/N: It's Pateesa

Ahsoka: This thing has a name?

Y/N: Apparently.

The rancor smashed its head against the cell bars, bending them.

Ahsoka: Ever fought a thing like this?

Y/N: Not yet.

Ahsoka: Great, so we're both inexperienced in beast fights.

Y/N: Who said I'm inexperienced? I said I haven't fought a rancor yet, there are stronger beasts than this thing.

Ahsoka: Sure. Keep that confidence up the whole fight, will you?

Y/N: I'm planning on doing that.

With another charge, the monster broke into the cell and charged at me.

I stabbed the beast with my lightsaber, making it roar while Y/N sliced its leg open with his dagger, making it bleed heavily.

The beast pushed me back, my lightsaber still inside of it.

Y/N managed to climb up to the head of the beast, using his dagger as a climbing tool and the rancor's back as a climbing surface.

The rancor was now shaking uncontrollably, trying to throw Y/N off itself.

I managed to get the lightsaber out of it and cut off it's arm, Y/N stabbed it in the eye.

It's painful roars attracted a few guards that came rushing into the cell.

My lightsaber cut through them like a knife through butter, making all three of them drop to the ground immediately.

The beast's tail hit me with a force so strong that it sent me flying to the wall, my back crashing against it.

Y/N slit the beast's throat, causing it bleed from there as well.

That's when the beast managed to throw him off.

We both stood up simultaneously, trading gazes and nodding, both of us ready to finish this.

The beast charged at me but I jumped to the side, making it crash headfirst into the wall.

Y/N jumped over to the rancor and pulled on its tail.

Y/N: Cut it off!

He demanded and I responded by striking its tail with my lightsaber, cutting it off from its body.

The beast released another agonizing roar as its tail crashed to the ground.

It turned around and grabbed Y/N with it's remaining arm, bringing him closer to its mouth, ready to devour him.

Y/N stabbed its arm with his dagger and I followed it up with a strike of my lightsaber after using a force jump to get into the air.

The arm dropped to the ground along with Y/N who rolled to the side just before the beast could crush him with a stomp.

Ahsoka: It's a tough thing, huh?

Y/N: It's the most deadly Rancor in the galaxy, that's why it belongs to Jabba.

Ahsoka: How do you even know that?

I asked as I jumped back, dodging the beast's bite.

Y/N: Basic knowledge.
