Ahsoka POV

I buried my face in my hands, shaking my head in disbelief as we sat in a gunship that was flying us to Geonosis.

Ahsoka: We're doomed...

I mumbled, my face still in my hands.

"Why?"

Y/N asked, comfortably sitting on the opposite seat of me.

Ahsoka: You know what they'll do to us, right?

Y/N: No, what?

Ahsoka: They'll throw us into an arena where we'll have to fight all kinds of ugly beasts.

A smile crept on his face, causing me to raise a brow.

Was he happy about this?

Y/N: That's great.

Ahsoka: That's great? Do you want to die or something?

Y/N: I'd rather die in a arena than being shot in the back of my head by Jabba's mercenary.

Ahsoka: You do have a point, I guess. But still, I can't even walk, I don't have a chance. I'm just living meat for them.

Y/N: I'll get you through there.

I looked at him, not knowing what to think.

Ahsoka: I don't get you. I really don't. A few hours ago we were mortal enemies now you're promising to protect me in an arena.

He shrugged, his smile not fading.

Y/N: The situation has changed greatly.

Ahsoka: What will happen if things go back to normal? If you get back to the Confederacy and I get back to the Republic?

He kept looking at me, not saying a word.

Ahsoka: Will you try to kill me as if nothing happened?

Y/N: Will you raise your saber against me? As if nothing happened?

Ahsoka: That'd be my duty.

Y/N: And your death.

His cold response took me by surprise.

Ahsoka: So...we're partners now but once we get out of this alive, we'll become enemies once more?

Y/N: It doesn't have to be this way.

Ahsoka: I know. That's why I'm asking you to come to the Jedi Temple with me.

Y/N: They will kill me without second thought.

Ahsoka: I won't tell them anything if you promise to not tell them about my desertion.

Y/N: Why should I trust you?

Ahsoka: You handed my saber to me...back in the cell.

Y/N: Yes.

Ahsoka: That means you trust me.

Y/N: I did.

Ahsoka: And you still do, nothing has changed..and I'm slowly starting to trust you as well...

Y/N: You want to bring me to your Jedi Temple, so that you guys can turn me into one of yours.

Ahsoka: You'll still have free will, you'll just learn how to use the force. You're strong, I can feel the force inside you.

Y/N: You want me to fight against my own people?

Ahsoka: You don't have to participate in that fight.

Y/N: You'll force me to. As a test of loyalty.

Ahsoka: I won't allow them to do so.

Y/N: Who are you to make rules? Your High Council stands above you.
