Kalroth was giddy, he hadn't been able to wear this type of outfit in ages. He had missed it, which is why he kept fiddling with the hat which earned him odd looks from Ax.
Sometimes he didn't like being around Ax all the time.
He noticed Koa glancing at him periodically, and every time a smiled at the tiefling. He was confused as to why Koa kept looking at him, but honestly, being stared at by his boyfriend wasn't bad.
Then they took a break, Which left Kalroth alone leaning against a tree, and just as he got a minute to breathe Koa came over to him.
"You doing okay, Kal?" Koa asks, Kalroth looks up at him.
"goddammit, why is he so tall?" he thinks to himself before responding, "Why wouldn't I be doin' okay darlin'?" Kalroth smirks, raising an eyebrow at the tiefling in front of him.
"Just wanted to check on you sweetheart, is that so bad?" Koa says as he places one of his hands on Kalroth's hip while putting the other hand at the base of Kalroth's neck.
Kalroth could feel the heat rising to his cheeks, quickly closing his eyes as Koa leans in.
The kiss was quick, very much so that his head was fuddled and he hardly noticed that his hat had been stolen. The only reason he realised at that moment was due to Koa walking off and putting the hat on his head.
Kal yells out a "Hey!" and runs after his boyfriend. He caught up to the tiefling and tried to reach for the hat. But alas he was too short, and Koa found it amusing. He was smirking at Kalroth for a moment before leaning down and kissing him again.
Koa uses the hat to cover their faces for the duration before he moves back and places the hat onto Kalroth's head. Keeping his other hand on Kalroth's cheek.
Kalroth smiles giddily and mumbles "Thief!"
Koa only laughs in response, and Kalroth huffs and laughs with him.
Koa was a thief, he'd stolen Kalroth's hat and his heart.
And he could steal more if he so desired, Kalroth loved him too much to care.
