Chapter 68: The log

Scene for Kingdom Hearts: King Kong

After he runs off, the heroes, Jack, Hayes, Jimmy, Carl, Preston, and Dwan go after him on foot. They all run as fast as they can through the jungle. Preston accidentally trips and falls down. Both Sora and Jack help him up as they all continue running. Just then, they run into a V-Rex, which roars as it sees them. 

Jaune: Oh, crap! Go back! Go back!

They all turn, and run a different way. It chases after them. Kong is crossing a ravine on a log. He's holding Ann and Ruby in his hands as he crosses. The others continue running from the V-Rex as they're getting closer to the log. Kong hears them as he's by a hollow tree. He looks at the girls. The Rex roars as it gets closer. Jack shoots a bat nearby, and it falls down, getting the Rex's attention. As they run, Preston accidentally gets his arm sheeve caught in a branch. He struggles to get free as he looks back, and sees the Rex eating the bat. He gets his arm free, and hides from it. Kong growls, and looks at the girls. He then puts them on the tree, leaving them there as he goes back to where the log is. Sora and Jack spot the log. 

Jack: Come on!

They all run to the log. They all get on it, and run across. But as they do, Kong suddenly appears and roars. 

Hayes: Look out! Look out!

They all get back on the log. Kong is growling as he looks at them. He beats his chest, and crawls to them. They all stand still as he comes to the log. Carl starts filming Kong.

Hayes: Stay behind me!

Carl: Action! (Laughs) 

The heroes watch Kong as he roars. Then, he grabs ahold of the log. The heroes turn around to get off, but the V-Rex shows up, blocking their exit. It roars at them as they all hold onto the log. Momo sees what Kong's doing.

Momo: Oh, no! He's moving the log!

Hayes: Hold on!

They all hold onto the log as Kong starts moving the log. Everyone is yelling and shouting as they hold on. 

Goofy: Hang on, fellas! 

Carl holds onto his camera as Kong continues moving the log. He lifts it up, and Michiru is the first to fall off. He screams as he falls. 

Kaname: Michiru!!

Kong drops the log. And doing so, he makes Ren lose his balance, and fall off too. He's screaming as he falls. 

Nora: Ren, no! 

Everyone continues shouting and yelling as Kong keeps moving the log. Kairi is crying as she holds close to Sora. Odd is trying hard to hold onto the log.

Odd: Ah! Oh, no! Oh, no! No!

Sora: Hold on!

With a shake, Riku slips off, and falls. Both Sora and Kairi watch as he falls down into the ravine, screaming.

Sora/Kairi: RIKU!!

William slips off too, and falls. The humans see that they are no match for Kong's strength, as he continues moving the log. As he drops the log down, both Aelita and Jeremy slip off, and fall down into the ravine. They both scream as they fall. Kong looks at the humans as they keep holding onto the log. Carl tries to flim him as he holds on too. Kong beats his fists down on the edge as he growls and roars. 

Donald: Not a very happy ape! 

Blake: Here we go again!

Kong picks up the log, and shakes it. Toji holds on as long as he could, but he loses his balance, and falls off. Winter tries to shoot Kong, but misses. Weiss is slipping. She screams.
