Scene for Kingdom Hearts: Crawl
The heroes are all walking through the heavy storm. Luckily, they're wearing heavy waterproof clothing. Sora leads his friends through the rain. He looks around as the rain continues pouring down on them. He groans as the water is wetting his face. He looks straight, and rubs his face. Kairi walks beside him, and holds his hand as they walk.
Sora: Man. I've heard of heavy rain before, but not like this.
Kai: We have.
Momo: But guys, we need to find shelter. We've got to get out of this storm.
Odd: But where are we gonna go?
Donald: Let's just find a place.
They continue walking through the rain. And then, they make it to a town area.
Yuu: Hey, look. We made it to a town.
Goofy: All we got to do is ask one of these people to help us. Maybe they can offer us a place to stay for a while.
They all look around, but they don't see anyone around the place.
Weiss: What people, Goofy? The town is deserted!
Sae: Probably because of this storm. I mean, look at this storm. At this rate, the whole area is gonna flood within minutes.
Winter: She's right.
Penny: How long will that take?
Winter: That depends.
Riku: Let's just go. There's got be to a shelter around here.
Donald: But we need to find someplace that is high enough, and won't flood.
Sora: How far can the water reach the top?
Winter: Depends how high the flood will be.
They don't see anything as they continue walking. But just then, they all hear something through the rain. They turn around, and see two cars coming. They step out of the road, and the two cars slow down. A red jeep, and a Ford Maverick. A young woman rolls down her window, and looks at the heroes, and they look at her. They see she has a dog with her. A terrier.
Girl: Are you all okay?
Sora: Yeah. We didn't expect the rain to come down hard. Where are we?
Girl: You're in Coral Lake. You all need to find cover. The hurricane is getting worse.
Sora: We're trying, but we can't figure out which building to take. Oh, sorry. I'm Sora. And these are my friends.
Girl: I'm Haley. And this is my dog, Sugar.
They all look at the truck, and the passenger side window lowers, and two young men are in it.
Haley: That's my brother, Billy, and my best friend, Chris.
Billy: What's up?
Chris: Hello.
Namine: Are you all going to find shelter too?
Haley: (Sighs) We will, but first, we need to find our father. We checked his condo, but it was empty. So we figured, he probably went to our old family house.
Billy: Yeah. (Sighs, scoffs) Jeez, he's always trying to do something stupid, like trying to ride it out.
Chris: At least we'll find him, right?
Billy: Yeah, but still, he's crazy. He's got to stop doing things like this. Someday, he's gonna end up dead.
Haley: Billy!
Billy: What? It's true. You should agree with me too.
Haley: He's still our dad, you know. (Sighs) Look, we're almost there. We'll see if he's there, and we get him out.
Sora: Wait. Do you all think you need help? We can help you if you want.
Haley looks at them, and at her brother. He shrugs, and motions to her, "Let them." She sighs.
Haley: Sure. Follow us in our cars. We'll lead you to our old neighborhood.
Kairi: Ok.
Jeremy: Wait. Guys, we need to make it quick. It's a Category 5. I think some of us should go with them, and the rest of us can go back to the ship. That way, if any of us are in trouble, the rest can come for them.
Sora: Alright. I'm going. Who else is going with me?
Kairi: I'll go, Sora.
Jaune: Me too.
Kai: I am.
Momo: Count me in.
Yuu: I'll go.
Yumi: I'm going too.
Ulrich: Same goes for me.
Sora: Alright. Jeremy, you, Winter and Riku keep everyone in check while we're gone. We'll call you if we get into any trouble.
Jeremy: You got it, Sora.
Miki kisses Yuu goodbye for now, and the rest of the heroes go back to the ship while Sora takes his group to help Haley and the boys to look for Haley and Billy's father. But little do they know, this storm is gonna be the least of their worries. A lot of worries.
