Chapter 10: It has Begun

I jerk up, I was sweating, like an after school nap, my shoes were on the floor, I was hearing a ringing noise, I check the time, it was the next day already, I looked around and saw a coffee sitting out on my nightstand with a note, the note read

"Hey, I hope you're feeling better, you seemed pretty wiped containing 610,

Hope you feel better, Michael,"

Michael really is my best friend, he even came into my room and gave me a coffee. I appreciate it but why did he have to come in here? Was I out for that long? I got up and got dressed, I put the gear on with the headphones up and the gas mask strapped to my battle belt.

I walk out of my room with the coffee and walk to the control room.

"Ah, you're here, you didn't report back after the neurology appointment, but that's fine, you were wiped, Michael couldn't even awake you," the Site Director exclaims

"Anyways, a lot of doors have been paused on maintenance as some of the wiring including the key wiring was completely destroyed, we are ordered new wires now, but the SCP are at risk of breaching, so that is why, yes with permission from the 05, including 05-1, one of the highest ranking 05, permitted me to allow you to make your own task force, specifically a Alpha 1," he looks at me with a smile, I look back, knowing that I have just been offered to make my own task force, I was in my opinion not in the right mind to make a task force, not after 2 years of being a scientist. If I accept I would have the burden of my team's deaths if there would be any, and the burden of paperwork. I hate paperwork.

"But, we also have a choice of appointing you to the MTF security of CON-K, personally with your skill I would make that task force."

"Sir! Multiple door integrities have been failing, Multiple SCP are going to breach! This includes multiple Keter classes and Euclid!" yells an IA agent

"OH CRAP, GRADE ONE LOCKDOWN! NOW!" Rogers yells.

I put on my headphones and gas mask, I walk away and leave the control room, I run to the armory.

An alarm plays.
