"This is Alpha-1-1, SCP-106 has been contained," Michael told his radio. It had been about 2 minutes of watching SCP-106 walk around the magnetic chamber aimlessly. Trying to find a way to get out. He couldn't. So we called it in. He was contained.
We walked away, leaving the area of SCP-106. BOOM, the radio started to yell, "ALL UNITS BE ADVISED, CHAOS INSURGENTS, ARE BOMBING THE BASE, WATCH OUT FOR DEBRIS ACROSS THE BASE, WE URGE ALL UNITS TO ASSIST IN EXTRACTING STAFF TOWARDS THE SHELTER GENESIS FOR SAFETY, THE SITE IS COMPROMISED, I REPEAT, THE SITE IS COMPROMISED, WE HAVE BEEN PLACED ON PRIORITY B AS SITE-23 IS BEING RAIDED AT THIS MOMENT, REINFORCEMENTS ARE COMING SOON."
It was surprising, Chaos Insurgents never are this coordinated, it means there is a new head of it, he is even better than the last. But, the site is being compromised quickly... How is this possible, this is the largest site in the entirety of the SCP Foundation. This means I was right, there is a mole. We started to run across the empty halls of CON-K in a rush, we had to help extract the employees to Genesis Shelter. A loud and deafening roar could be heard from far echoing across CON-K. It was SCP-682, we had to go.
We continued running, trying to avoid SCP-682 to prevent a long battle. "This is Alpha-1-1, requesting a NU-7 unit towards CON-K, SCP-682 is going to cause trouble" Michael told Command. "Negative Alpha-1-1, NU-7 is working on securing the Site personnel, you're going to have to wait." replied Command. We ran like hell.
We made it to the checkpoint, it was empty, assuming they were also helping we just walked on through. Through my peripheral vision, I saw a body, and blood. "STOP" I yelled. "Somethings up, the security is not helping, they're dead. I heard a hum behind me. I turned around, only to see, SCP-017. I backed up and grabbed my waist, I had forgotten my black light, one of Michael's teammates shined the light straight into the things eyes
The thing backed off and Michael's teammate pushed it into a corner. It shivered in fear as it was immobilized, and trapped. "This is Delta-1-1, SCP-017 confirmed in the CON-K checkpoint, multiple security guards KIA advise," I radioed. "Roger that Delta-1-1, I cannot send any reinforcements as securing the site personnel in the Genesis Shelter has been deemed top priority from the Overseer Command." replied command. We couldn't waste time so we backed up to the entrance and closed the door, allowing SCP-017 to run amok the CON-K Checkpoint.
We continued running, reaching the CON-S Checkpoint. "Y'all here for the Genesis evac?" asked a guard. "Yeah," Michael replied. "Be careful, there are still some Euclid SCP out in CON-E." I added, we walked out, to see the hallways filled with staff rushing to the Genesis Shelter in CON-S, we had to help. An alarm plays, "THIS IS THE GRADE 1 LOCKDOWN CONTINUATION. AT ORDER OF THE OVERSEER COMMAND, THE GENE SIS PROTOCOL IS TO BE READIED, AND USED IF THE CIRCUMSTANCE WORSENS. I REPEAT, THE LIKELIHOOD OF GENESIS PROTOCOL BEING ACTIVATED IS HIGH, HEAD TOWARDS THE NEAREST GENESIS SHELTER IMMEDIATELY!
"Holy crap," I said. Never, and I mean never ever, has the Genesis protocol ever been expected to activate. This situation is getting worse. CRACK CRACK. I looked to my right, to see multiple Chaos Insurgents firing at the staff running away, I opened fire taking them out. We had to contain the SCP, NOW.
